Love the true to FO aesthetic design of your sights pack! I’ve frequently felt some of the sight options mods add to vanilla/lore friendly weapons can look pretty jarring and like they don’t look quite right, regardless of how good the quality of the author’s modeling/texture work is. Has anyone done a Galilean Optical Sight yet? It’s a “scope” without the tube, just two optical lenses set up like iron sights, they tried them in WWI. not great, but thry look interesting, and could be a good option for lore friendly scopes on pipe weapons and stuff. I think the closest to a Galilean in vanilla are the reflex sights on the Gauss Rifle and/or Tesla Rifle they’re pretty much a Galilean minus the magnification.
I'm happy to see how lore friendly the attachments you've made so far are. I understand people's love for modern weaponry but man do they look stupid in the fallout universe and just completely breaks the aesthetic. Would love to see you work on some lore friendly weapons after the attachments pack. Stuff that makes sense for fallout but still sleek like service rifles.
@@retrospekt2794 You understand why you use modern-ish weapons since the original fallout games 1 and 2 still only use weapons from like the 80s and 90s MAX which ain't modern anymore. And like... Nobody can stop you from using an ACR in Fallout 4. I just think it looks stupid. You can be a baby about it or you can accept that not everyone's gonna like what you like and move tf on.
MunkySpunk made one of my favourite mods of all time; 'The Bleachers, a Diamond City story' For anyone who enjoys quest mods, this one is smaller but incredibly rich, and just an amazing experience. Definitely one to check out, and MunkySpunk is working on the sequel; 'The Fens Sheriff Department' which looks to be even more awesome!
All great mods I can’t wait to have most of these in my load order and videos when I get to doing my content. I’m usually not a fan of the cod ports/ modern stuff in fallout but I gotta admit those hun sounds are amazing!
Something I have been wondering about for a while now: why is it that some weapons appear as a pile of parts when they've been discarded? They don't seem to be messed up when they're actually being used by an NPC, but once you kill that person they are. I noticed it when you picked up the shotgun as well.
Man, when I heard you talking about the new gun sounds I got excited, then I heard it and I was just deflated. I hate the basey "boom", there's no sharp crack to it and the thompson just sound so weird, Battlefield has been one of the few franchises really captured that crack n' boom in gun sounds.
About to go through Galac-Tac 1 & 2, hopefully my new mod-list will work and perform well. Can't wait to bump into your droid counterpart. Also, will look forward to Brother in Arms, I like Lyons Pride a lot, even though Sarah died according to logs, I hope she's somewhere kicking. The VR instantly hit me with flashbacks of the awesome Virtual battlegrounds the X-Men used to train in the Danger Room they had in the original movies. I would like to try it out soon also. Keep up the great coverage of content! (Also looking forward to your new weapon attachment pack). 😁
I love how with the Galac-Tac armour they've clearly been inspired by Star Wars, with the Mandalorian and Stormtrooper armour, which at least in the Original Trilogy lines up very nicely with the classic Fallout aesthetic... and yet they've STILL gone out of their way and managed to transform it into the garbage "modern" tacticool look that utterly clashes with Fallout's retro-futurism. At least the robot looks appropriate.
I seriously wish I could download more mods for my Fallout 4. There are soooo many good mods, before I know it, I've already maxed the number of plugins I can use. Not to mention making it stable. WHY DOES THIS COMMUNITY HAVE TO BE SO TALENTED AT MODDING????!!!!!!!
So glad so many varied mods came out this week, than just weapon mods, I mean I like them, but Fallout 4 has a lot less variety in mods than Skyrim or New Vegas
Yo that sound replacer mod tho! I'm one of those that don't feel MW type mods but JUST the audio?!? AND it replaces ALL the vanilla weapons?!? A good "recoil camera shake" mod paired with this... All the feels get way more real, Real quick Cheers 🍻
1. Galac-tac - the helmets look too star wars-ey to me. that makes me hesitate tbh. because i used to and sometimes still do write multi IP crossovers for fun I expect an explanation for this that makes sense and isn't too crazy. 2. Interesting question for Pig - what would happen if the former Lyon's Pride met the Sarah Lyons from the Project Valkire series of mods. Would they work with her or take her out? Also side note after hearing about this mod; replacing the brotherhood is way more common than I thought. *sigh* but my fanfiction universe where Haylen restarts the Outcasts after Blind Betrayal is already started. I've already got half Maxson's command structure either in the ground or in a coma at Cabot House and Ghoul Ingram with cybernetics is already a thing. Also Maxson, Ronnie Shaw and Desdemona playing poker in the castle basement through the bars of Maxson's prison cell is too funny a tableau for me to scrap. Basically with the Prydwyn down, Teagan dead and Kells comatose, Maxson in prison and Ingram turning into a ghoul, a good chunk of Maxson's soldiers from the Capitol Wasteland decide that they can't trust the Brotherhood anymore and either leave to form their own mini chapter that's gone native or joined the Railroad as a way to continue fighting the Institute and get answers as to the true nature of synths. Haylen restarts the Outcasts on Spectacle Island, joins the Railroad as a Tourist and starts taking in Brotherhood and Institute deserters. 3. Aquariums are good, but aquaponics rigs are even better. The Aztecs even had a word for the thing I'm thinking of, they called it a "Chinampa" a raft turned into a small artificial island that you grew crops on. But IRL aquaponics rigs are becoming more popular as a form of small scale urban or suburban agriculture. I really wish I could build some in Fallout along with a working 3 Sisters style garden bed. 4. Very picky about my game sound effects crossing IPs, its nothing to do with the game quality itself. The problem is that i'm very sensitive to sound effects. I've literally built up muscle memory cues based on them. It ended up having some very comical twitchy and dodgy moments when I got the feral ghouls expansion pack because of all the recycled L4D sound effects. I have reflexes for Left 4 Dead built up in my proverbial system. So I started responding to the modded ferals like they were Special Infected. Now I'm very iffy about what sound effects I'll switch.

The assualt rifle model in this video is Daks rework of his MG69/the new barrels and stuff for the base ar, check out the older MG69 by him if you want a similar slightly older ar remesh
I knew that Clanker was a Degenerate But seriously love the mercs and music expansion and also love your robo voice acting My favorite companion so far love it's my favorite part of the mod personally besides the armors and guns of course love that spas 12
As much as Fallout 4 is cool, I have over 600 mods and ultra graphics on, the stutters and crashes has put a stain on my overall experience of the game, if such never happened Fallout 4 would be incredible
