Yeah, grew up watching this show. I recall seeing Little John opening up his jewelry store when me and parents were driving downtown Cleveland on way to air show. 80's. Later me and mother saw little John in local pizza joint with his family. Just....memories.... I looked forward to this show as a kid. They filmed a few skits in my neighborhood in the 80's.
If I am right, this old station was on Broadway Ave, in maple heights. The new Truck bypass is now on the locations at Greenhurst. The Iconic building with the tall tower corner you can barely make out in the background and the service garage with all the cars plus the white house is still standing.
Right on Brother, North Royalton for me,, Seen em all most on first airing, at the time I think Big Chuck lived in Hinckley so It was common to see him at the regos in Royalton which was a big deal for us kids, But for me the Ghoul was it, from channel 61 to 8 , he had us with the FROGGY FROGGY FROGGY destruction and in show antics LOL. Good Times long gone.
Da Reptile---I remember when the Falcon gas station in Kent Oh was having a gas price war with the Clark gas station about a hundred yards down on South Water St, both fell below 25 cents a gallon, hard to believe but true!
@@randystallard8079 I can believe that. In Columbus Ohio, around 1998 there was a gas station probably having a similar competitive war I got it for 69 cents. I can't imagine 25 per gallon wow. I think it's time to have vehicles powered by hydrogen fuel cell.. something else. Those oil tycoons will never allow it and it's sad.
Actually, assuming this was filmed in the early 80’s, $1.19 adjusted for inflation would be close to $4.00 per gallon. So gasoline is actually cheaper today.
Possibly 1979 because of the oil crisis from the Iranian Revolution. Similar too '73 & the oil crisis, when gas seemed to double to over a dollar a gal just as I started driving. A sticker shock to fill the tank of a '67 Newport(land yacht?).
