I remember when Doug Hauser played hockey in Parma at Forestwood. Then on to Padua and Windsor Royals. We all watched BC&H. We all had our white socks! His brother Mel and Roger could be lay some puck too!
I swear on my mothers grave ( she's still with us) that I seen on our local news years ago , Romona Robinson reading emailed commentary on air , from viewers about current stories, and she would give the commenters name first, and she totally missed that a guy emailed in as non other than "Ed Tarbush" !!!
Funny stuff! Big Chuck and Hoolie were awesome. Sad that our PC world today takes things too seriously and can't laugh at ourselves. "Humor" today is too preachy and political.
💯 facts. Nobody was singled out...everyone was ridiculed...lol. They were onto the special tonic to ease racist/"hate anyone different from yourself" views and ways. In a way like Family Guy does....everyone laughs at each other because we are all equally flawed and ridiculous. Nobody gets singled out and everyone gets roasted. Laughing at each others stereotypes is such a gateway to getting along better. These guys got it....shame not too many do.
All in the family was actually making fun of people like you but I don't think you realize it. Funny too because the older generation are the ones freaking out, just like Archie Bunker, over a private company changing a syrup bottle, but tell us more about how younger folks have "thin skin" .
