I think these are among the best types of siren for emergency vehicles. I live in Italy, and here we have only two-tone siren, an only default siren. So when a police car, an ambulance or a fire truck come close to a traffic jam, they can't use any other type of siren to tell them to give away. In Great Britain, Portugal, Spain and countries of Eastern Europe like Russia, Hungary, Czech Republic, they can change the siren from wail to yelp to tell the cars in from that they've to give away. So I think this type of siren is one of the best and most useful.

the fog lights are also used as the lights when sirens are active, like how the ambulance uses the horn to turn on the siren

It's going to be either a Redtronic EM500AS siren or a Sterling SS2H4. The siren tone is two-tone/HiLo. Both the Redtronic and Sterling have almost identical two-tone siren pitches/tempo

People are commenting that the DPG vehicles are ARV's, yet they don't have the yellow stickers in the windows, do DPG not need them?

Also the Brithish Highway code states that the red flashing lights shall only be used when the vehicle is stopped (At the side of the road etc) so the officer must have left them on or hit them on by mistake.

It appears the Brits have both the American and European sirens. Wasn’t expecting British police to utilize a German car in their fleet.

Very nice! the first van was City of London police.

Police and all emergency vehicles in the UK use blue lights only, it is under the highway code to respond to blue flashing lights, they never used red lights unless they are parked up and just to warn people from behind they have stopped.

We just have blue as the main emergency colour and normally tow or sometimes more red lights to the rear.

Ja, rot ist eine besondere Schutz-Polizei, extra für Diplomaten. Silber ist die "Metropolpolizei" und mit Blauen und Gelben Kacheln ist die normale Polizei...
