Join the concrete crew as we pour our second big driveway of the season. We were a bit shorthanded but we made it work. I bought a new battery operated vibrating screed. Find out how I liked it in this video. Enjoy
@@mjb12141963 sadly the boomers and those before them build the good times we had, but then my gen reaped the rewards. But did not see that after reaping comes tilling and fertilising. and then the seeds that grew where all weeds.
I think you're Employee Problems stem from the fact you continue to hire the same Employees who have given you Problems in the past because you have a good Heart.
Is that normal for someone that overweight to just fall asleep in seconds bless his heart Jr is part of what makes the Chanel fun! We need more Ryans in the world 🌍
Junior expecting you to give him money for a tip and you turning him down is awesome. I would guess he stood at the window and told the person driving how good of a job they are doing and he will go and get them a tip. Gotta love it
@@olbabybeard never said but he's been off and on for 20 years. Something was said about he needed a rule for how many times you could be fired and hired
Ryan in your next video can you show us (if possible) the oldest tool you have, surely you have a piece of equipment or note, or letter, or anything of sentimental value from when you first started your business.
Thanks Ryan been watching for quite awhile now and you group of guys always put a smile on my face and remind me of a good group of people I used to work for as an apprentice carpenter last year and gives me good memories of that. Cheers boys🍻🇦🇺
Ryan I'd like to thank u for posting these videos. They help me through my tough days, and I also have learned so much from your vids. I haven't missed a vid yet. Thank u for being a great person the world definitely needs more gentlemen like u.
That was a great creation of concrete splendor Ryan. Now ya get to do it again & again & again in many different ways. You & the crew get to have all the fun. 😁
If I ever leave trucking im going to start doing concrete work. For some reason I love when the guys start to finish. A nice smooth finish is so satisfying.
Ryan has a excellent attitude. I really admire that. These videos remind me to work on that. I also didn’t know i would be so interested in screeding and slump.
Thanks for posting a video today really helping me get over the shooting yesterday. Wasn’t far from me at all and the off duty cop was my buddy who I worked with for years. Your video helped get my mind of things for minute
@@tonybanannas6612 why dont you be quiet, we dont know if what they said is true or not, he wasnt askin for anything and was just saying thanks for a video. Seems more like you wanted attention for trying to call out someone on the internet.
Ryan is an awesome boss leader. You can see it in the way his team respects him in all his videos. "We need to be in at 5AM tomorrow" - "OK" and then how he takes over when he needs to keep the job moving forward with precision and expertise. There's so many times I'm watching and have no idea how they will handle something and he knows exactly what to do.
Exactly. I do commercial and highrise 6 inch slump with 2 good rakers and your moving. That concrete was looking tough. Also helps if the concrete isn't piled up when it's that dry. The first driver kinda set them up for a struggle
Your videos are so intriguing....not sure if it's the edit, personalities, the work, it's just fun to watch....thanks for the great content! Another Victory for the Victory crew👍
Literally like I have no relation to concrete or the asmr of watching it pour out, but it’s just the group of guys it’s wholesome and entertaining at the same time
It's mostly the personalities. Most of the videos is Ryan talking in general and explaining everything he's doing, then banter between him, his crew, and other people who show up. He's very charismatic and speaks clearly and concise, so it's pleasant to hear him talk about pretty much anything. A few other channels I notice they usually put their whole pouring process on fast-forward and either explain everything beforehand, talk while the video is playing, or don't say anything at all. I don't feel excited or interested at all. Ryan keeps me very engaged.
Agree, there is no concrete channel like this one. I don't know what it is about his channel either, but there's something that make it so interesting to watch.
I watch streamers play games and video game channels. How the heck did I even find this channel; and become my favorite RU-vid channel? I dont know how i found this channel but this is one of the very few channels that I've went back and watched every single video and look forward to every single new video!
wow Ryan you are a very blessed and lucky man, you work all day long and when you get home after another eeaasssyy moneyy day you are greeted by your beautiful children, man life is sure good or you Ryan keep the great videos coming.
One thing I started doing a few years ago is using a deep cutting 5' long jointer before using the regular jointer. You can cut the joints super early with the 5' long jointer then switch when it sets up a bit and run the regular jointer. The one I use is Bon Tools Red Line Vegas 5'. If you time it right with your regular jointer its maybe 2-3 quick passes with not having to force down the stone. Nice and easy and it works amazing. Worth a try!
Hey Guys great job men!!! Ryan even without marcel and bugs you do great things with your men. Your leadership style and forsight ith the guys and the job progression really shows at the end of each pour. Your patients and comradry pays off everytime. Thanks for sharing EASY MONEY!!
At 11:34 when Ryan was talking to Junior about being a master finisher and he said, "I can't even finish my lunch" I spit out my coffee. Junior is the heart of the team.
Looks like a good crew you have there my friend.. I've been watching your channel on and off. Like the my President on the window ha ha ha.. Keep you and the family blessed in the Lord !! Ernie
Love your videos Ryan! I work in the fencing business but you remind me of my boss who passed away May 13th of last year. Same attitude and work ethic. Very generous with your workers but expect the best out of them. Would work for you anytime! Keep up the beautiful work.
Been watching for a while now and only just commenting sorry, but fair play Ryan you are a top bloke fair play I love the work you do it's always top work, I'm from Wales in the UK 🇬🇧 keep up the excellent work 👏
Been watching your videos for a couple hours and wondered if I'd see an MBW product. I work for them and build a few products so I'm familiar with these electric screed. So cool to see them out in action.
I really enjoy your videos out of every one im subscribed to i have seen all of your videos i have watched all your videos and have never been upset i think i cried a couple times and laughed the rest your awesome man you can definetely tell you have been in the concrete business for a long time you make everything look so easy im a asphalt guy but i have also poured my share of concrete mainly sidewalks
I felt like this is one of those days where Bugs is sorely missed for sure. Eric and Francisco are doing great! Even Darryl is stepping up and handling business.
Mannn i love the attitudes of the speedway workers. Around where I live, In Ohio usually the employees are RUDE and never want to talk. Its nice to see something different.
HAHA Daryl doing pull ups from the chute. Memories when I was young gun raising my chutes to get a level pull up station and get a few sets in and then put my feet up on the step of cab and do push ups at big decline. Ahh loved it for 40 years. Local 853. San Leandro Calif. Granite Rock co out of Redwood City, Ca. Ocean breeze , yard backed up to the SF bay. Daryl jr said he's good at "finishing" his lunch. Facts!!
May 4th in southern Missouri was mid 90’s and muggy. It still blows me away that there’s places that are still cold in may. That being said, I’m not jealous at all. I’ve been jumping for joy at the temp. I can’t do cold. 50 and below is cold for me 😂😂 Hope it warms up for ya quick bossman
Love you guys! When you said, "Careful, I'll knock your teeth out again" I almost died lol 🤣🤣🤣🤣 That video had me rolling. I showed my coworkers, and come to find out, one of them also watches your vlogs! EEEEASY MONEY today! Victory Style!
When I worked for the worst boss ever we had a similar machine and it was a pain lol same problem u guys had especially cause we were new to the game lol. Love your videos bud .
