You're not the only one frustrated/ disgusted with Deere's new parts website. There are plenty of others, if you read on some ag forums, such as AgTalk.
Duffy, When you mentioned the 8820, it reminded me to comment about the problem of leaving the grain tank uncovered. The bottom auger trough has a bad habit of rusting out. Covering the hopper with a tarp is important, and a lot less expensive than building a shed.
I talked about that months ago but I guess covering it wasn't a priority. You're right rotting corn will rust out the bin sheet metal. Getting done and just letting it sit without any clean out isn't good but I bet all the critters living in it all winter liked it.😂
@@DLH-Farms When the auger rusts out, it will start leaking grain back into the machine and it will crack the grain and run it through again and you may not notice it for a while. It can go unnoticed until it rusts out under the outer end of the unloading auger that extends outside the machine. Then, you start to see grain dribbling on the ground while you are unloading. Ask me how I know.
Awesome to see the improvements to the farm . You are always getting in some little way . That's what farmers do . Keep it up love to watch you succeed in life .
l always wondered about that pipe when your previous video from last year showd the hole in the top and you mentioned you need to fix it. l just assumed you did it when not on camera. Great job.
Watched this video on amishpa channel, from paradise Pennsylvania. Barnfire, cows back to milking in new barn after 13 days😂😂. There was an army of bobcats and such😅
If you had a 12 in trench bucket you could bury some poly tubing to act as conduit to pull some cat6 from the house to the shop and shop to barn. Do some Ethernet Backhauled Mesh Wifi. Definitely the E60 can do a lot of work. 👍
Oh yes make a big difference looks good .I just do not understand some people and there negativity your trying your best just carry on my by they will leave
Idea take the old green mack turn it into a trailer and put a dump box for the 7520 good for hauling grain and for hauling fill around the farm just pull the axles on the different
You should be getting 2 boxes from USPS on Thursday 8/1 Goofy thought would mini fit under to clean out the boys stall That mini with thumb is the greatest
Last year in a video, Border View Farms said in a video that his outside rounds always produced the biggest yields. As a non crop farmer I was curious? Reasons, they get more direct sun that mid field. I dunno Place is coming along 🙌
Looks like you had a great day. You talked some about fertilizer. is Anhydrous not readily avail where you are? Here in SW Iowa, I can't begin to pay for all dry urea for my nitrogen. NH3 is much cheaper. Also- on tube length- Always plan to use 10 foot more than you think you need. Just like the culvert you did, it makes life better.
I was watching the video the other day they had drones dropping fertilizer and Roundup I thought that was pretty cool there in like 8 ft long big and old 8 gallon of spray at a time I bet you it is really costly though
Around me if you tell the Amish you Wan a barn torn down with good tin . Blink and it will be gone you might have flat tires for a couple of years but they will take the wood and tin
I own sound guards ran 20 series my whole life not a fan of em but main reason im sellin em is i cant stand dealin with deere. Our dealers suck and deere itself sucks for parts
It's a buzzword one side projects on the other, what they are in fact doing. Nothing says abnormal like drag queen story hour for children or gen, ital mut, ilation of teenagers who feed into a society that want to be perceived as normies They are being lied to for Eugenics of the Elite that want us to eat bugs because cow farts and limit our mobility while they fly on their private planes.
Don’t get me started!! I’m extra annoyed that as you mentioned. Deere had an easy to navigate website to look up parts. I know full well that these large corporations spend a ton of money to design and operate these websites and apps. But they are built by idiots who have no idea how the user wants or needs to use them. The biggest problem is the people at Deere who are in charge of overseeing the website. Obviously aren’t doing their jobs in directing the web designers to create a user friendly layout. It’s like a pet make work project. Make a different shiny design. Who cares if it how well it functions. In the end no one is held to account. It’s just left to the consumer and all too often the retail locations as well to deal with. How many older pieces of equipment can you even read the serial numbers on anymore. 🤷♂️ I guarantee most people have no record of the serial number Either.
Well if they're not manufacturing here the only jobs left would be service and repair and parts they don't want you working on your own equipment they tried doing that years ago what I find so funny years ago when they sold this country out to foreign manufacturing they said it was because everybody wanted cheap goods well let me tell you something the goods aren't cheap that are imported here anymore
The John Deere site sucks big time. The Case New Holland site is not much better they all suck big time. You can spend hours looking up parts and if you call the dealer they don't know crap and don't give a dam about doing anything for you. If you were on a gravel road we would have the best yield on the end rows because you would get lime from the limestone gravel on the road.
Yeah what so 🇺🇸 workers will have to take pay cuts or Deere gets to skip paying its share of taxes so the working man continues to get the shaft I’m all set with the Ego Maniac Draft Dodger IDGA💩 Anyone that would want chaos is not a True 🇺🇸 Patriot
