Without any hesitation or even a blink I would grab up Drake at number 3! I would also make sure that he doesn't start day one, and learns behind a veteran. He's a supreme talent at a distinguished 21yrs old. You have lots of time to bring him along the right way. I REALLY like Drake Maye, and all the possibilities of a 21yr old with this much physical ability!

It’s all a risk NMW - we see top 3 qbs fail or slip to mediocrity much more often than we see them successful. If we draft a qb instead of getting capital to secure more real talent around the qb, I don’t see how he has a chance here. We need a vet to start in front of him. Oh and that’s not going to be Justin fields. That delusion needs to go. According to people FROM NEW ENGLAND, Fields should come here for another chance bc he never got a chance to succeed with : his coach not believing in him, 3 offensive coordinators in 3 years, no weapons. Right, so…. People think that our team, this team… the patriots is a qualified team to “fix” that type of qb??!? ☠️ We legitimately are still washing the blood off our hands from the guy we just put through the same torture. Drake Maye is not the guy. Sure he’s a great kid but his inconsistency is glaring. Pats don’t get to choose which QB ends up at 3. But if it’s Maye they should pass and draft MhJ or trade down

Maye is who I want the Pats to take. Hopefully they can bring in a veteran QB and let him sit a year and learn behind him. So often we see these young guys thrown to the wolves on bad teams and then get labelled as a bust because they don't carry the team on their back in their first season.

They're going to take Maye, then they're going to sit him (supposedly) and get a bridge veteran QB that will start. With no one to throw to because I don't think we're going to be able to get Ridley, and a Rookie LT most likely... So we will have a top defense with still a dumpster fire offense without "weapons" . When will our offense be ready 2025? 2026? What if Maye is a bust even after sitting and we wasted three years? Best case scenario he's ready by 2025, but then our defense is aging.... be ready for another BRUTAL two or three season Pats Nation....
