BIG FAMILY UPDATE: WE HAD TO MOVE! 📦 

Thank you so much for your support, kindness and love. I do want to clarify (in case you’re wondering or didn’t watch the whole video) that we went on a month to month lease after our 1 year lease expired. We chose to move as soon as we were able to find something because there wasn’t much to pick from and we didn’t want to wait till the last minute when the house sold to find a place. We also weren’t sure when exactly the house was going to be listed so we decided it was best to look ASAP. We also had to provide 30 day notice so we needed to find something quick. Love you all so much!! 💜

I'm viewing this nearly a year after this happened (4/16/22) but boy oh boy, steam is coming out of my ears. I think those "friends" of yours who owned the house took extreme advantage of you and your husband. You put in all that hard work and money and what did you get for it in return? A kick in the pants! You made the place beautiful out front and totally did up the back yard and those "friends" of yours profited from it, I guarantee, because you so improved the curb appeal of that home.

Sounds like they took advantage of how much better you made their house look. Seems like you are a great person so I’m sure there are great things in your future. I’m sorry that you all had to go through that.

That's crummy of your friends. With the excess they will make in this seller's market, they should compensate you for some of the money you put into the house and for all your hard work!

Wow! It’s like you’re telling my story. Lol. Our landlord did the same thing to us in February. We had to move in the middle of the school year. Our commute is now 25 mins. We invested in the yard and planted flower beds… I’m glad you guys found a new house. All the best.

Wow, this sucks! I’m a landlord and in contracts it states that landlords or tenants must tell the other party 2 months in advance if not renewing the contract. Two weeks notice is not enough time to look for a new place and move, specially with 3 kids….good luck!

Did the landlord know you were making over the property? They should have asked you not to do any work on the property since they had intensions of selling. They waited until you did the work which increased the property value and then listed it. Maybe they sold because the market was hot and also they didn’t want you to get too attached to the property.

It may seem hard and hurtful now but God sees the bigger picture that we don't or can't comprehend now but later you will. I have just started watching you for the first time today. I love what you did to the house and how much better it looked. In my own opinion, your owner friend(?) took advantage of your lease being up and how beautiful you made the curb appeal. He could list it with no problem….

Just think how wonderfully beautiful you made this home…with your love and passion I know you will make any place you move to just as beautiful and enjoyable for your children….take your passion and use it to make the next house your home and the next and the next if so be it…and just think of how thankful the next owners will be to have such a beautiful home to move into…your landlord, really should be so grateful for what you have done to his property because I’m sure that will be a great selling point…never give up your passion move into a new journey in your life…it’s not the destination that life is all about it the amazing journey you take….God bless you you all will be fine…and surprise that something so much bette4 has come along…

So sorry:( This is something that will take time to get over, but you will. People r getting greedy in this market knowing they can make quite a bit when selling and renting right now. I think it’s quite disgusting actually. I’m on a fixed income and my rent is going up 200.00$ more a month. ❤️ Stay strong and lay a good spiritual home foundation within your self that no one can take from you. 👍

Sometimes we have to be jolted out of our comfort zone to move forward in life….we get too comfortable and the universe says no, no, no, time to get up and go….that happens to me…so I know everything happens for a reason and always has our best interest at heart…even though it doesn’t feel like it at the time….you’ll be fine, and happy, and grateful….and so will your children..

Would be nice if they gave you some compensation for all you spent on improving *their* house!

Same situation for us back in May 😭 we ended up in a better place. I also had an attachment to the back yard and things I had done inside the house but My family is so much happier now. I started watching when you were remodeling your rental from friends and they sold the house. Where do you live now? You seem to move so often. Have you ever owned a house. Is it upsetting for the boys to have to move so much. Will you ever be able to buy? Good luck. You really deserve to own because you take such good care of the rentals you live in.

This has happened to us too and it was very uncomfortable to see our furniture on advertising display when the owners wanted to sell it and having Home Opens with strangers walking thru. We too had 3 little children at the time and trying to keep it continually clean just in case buyers wanted a private viewing. Glad you got out early and found somewhere else. I am so very sorry and I feel your pain my landlord too just sold the property and the new owner wants to remodel so I I recieved a 90 day notice I have put my heart and soul into my duplex I fixed the yard and planted sago palms, Hydrangeas, rose bushes and ivy growing up the house ,and have my room painted in that breakfast at Tiffinys the whole room is decorated in it ,not to mention I live alone oh they said if I want to move back my rent will be doubled so yes I too am devastated and was in shock for awhile I didnt even know where to start 😔💔

Since these friends apparently took advantage of your kindness, I would’ve taken the pavers, plants, all the edging items and the lights. I would’ve completely left it bare probably have taken the mulch also. The new owners would make them come out of their profit to replace and to end, I would no longer want to be their friends. With all the inconvenience and hurt they placed on your family they don’t need good friends and your family definitely don’t need foes

Omg this happened to me too. She went about it in an even more underhanded way though. She served an eviction notice via the sheriff. Came home to a paper on the front door. It was devastating bc we had like 30 days notice and we had just paid rent. I wouldn’t have paid if I knew this was coming. **no we weren’t non rent paying tenants we paid on time every month** she’s just a dirty lady and I wish nothing good for her.
