Watching Noel and Richard on the Quiz is always very funny because Richard's got doctor handwriting, Noel somehow writes like both a toddler and an art teacher, and neither of them give a shit about the Quiz
The celebrity questions are so awkward. "Hi Jimmy, Billy Jones here. This summer, I had a hit song, Love Love Baby Baby. Can you tell me, what hollywood director DIDN'T love their baby when they drowned it in a bathtub?"
Seriously?..... they are on a quiz show every single year without fail.. this plus everyone always whining and bitching about one or the other not being on a program.. sooo damned annoying! For real!
A rare moment of Jimmy breaking character when the kid tells the panel what he did with his Fortnite winnings. I wouldn't be able to not high-five him either. That kid rules.
Plus he didn’t make fun of him and be condescending to him. He’s just like “pardon my ignorance, how did it work?” And everything. It’s a huge respect move from Jimmy
Came to the comments to see if anyone else noticed. Glad and agree. Super surprised. He's actually a genuine intellectual, great writer, and generally nice fella. Check out 'The Green Room with Paul Provenza.' Jimmy does an episode of it and has the 'character' pretty toned down, and talks about comedy with other great comedians
I really liked that Dara and Maya joked around more with their answers to allow Noel and Richard to catch up and not just have it be a complete blow out.
I believe that it was more Dara joking around than Maya, as I've seen her in a plethora of interviews and firmly believe she isn't swinging a "heavy mental hammer."
idk who puts these teams together but they always somehow manage to get the best possible combinations and idk how they knew dara and maya would get along so well
@@BirdwellingtonAmalgamation nah, it doesn’t. you couldn’t say “him, I firmly believe, is the most genuinely funny person alive” so it’s a subject and not an object if you’re gonna act like “whom” as a word is useful enough to employ in youtube comments, use it correctly.
Thank you, thank you, thank you. Living in Canada I wouldn't see this show at all; Noel and Richard together are just the best, these two are my favorites.
@@imacmill We're not all French and are all taught differently by province. The average person doesn't give a shit about language anymore as well. Auto correct also gives you "or" by default for everything, and people are slaves to their phones.
@@TheAcridCorpse _...and are all taught differently by province._ False. Again, are you sure you're Canadian? _The average person doesn't give a shit about language anymore_ Above average people do. It's good you recognize your station in life.
I love how Richard and Noel's first impression for this episode is "odd couple best friends still serving their life sentence in the forgotten dimension"
Bless you for uploading this! I’m in America, and Big Fat Quiz has become one of my greatest obsessions. I was so excited to read that it would be happening again this year (and that Richard and Noel would be on). Can’t wait to watch (way too tired right now, but yay, it’s on RU-vid!!!)
I agree! Too bad this wasn't done in America - EVERYBODY would have gotten a trophy - even the camera guy, and the guy that cleans out the shit in the mud!! LOL
I remember that the football players were genuinely surprised at the crappy spread they got after winning a NCAA championships, but Trump has never looked happier.
Thank you so much for uploading this!!!! We still have no other way to see these in the US! Maybe one day Netflix will get a clue like it did with Bake Off!
Thank you! My entire family was impressed with the video quality, as well as the captions! One of the best ones in quite some time, and your evident care elevated everything.
i think it's the only year richard was smiling and being "out of character", noel and richard really looked like two kids in class messing around. such a good big fat quiz
I had seen Noel Fielding as Old Gregg in a video my friend showed me, I looked him up just before the pandemic and it led me to these, and then to Taskmaster, Would I Lie To You, Mock The Week, etc.
I feel sorry for Maya when they were laughing about her poop thing. She was missing the word Compost. Though dissolves into the mud is fumy way of putting it.
God how I love Dara's look around 10:05. Reminds me so much of every "hot but dim" woman I've talked to throughout my life. 😂 For thoughtful young men who might read this: Learn to politely excuse yourself and just let it go. Your time is better spent elsewhere.
Kinda hate the team name bit. I mean, if at any point in the rest of the show they used the teams names, sure, but they're never heard from again. It's a bigger waste of time than David Mitchell reusing the same drab joke every year, "The question was can I remember, and the answer is I can't remember."
I'm looking forward to an episode where the panelists are unaware of what's been happening around them and fully doesn't give a shit about the quiz and Jimmy's losing total control for the show.
