It’s a 75ft lake that I’ve been going to for almost 30 years. They don’t get much bigger at that body of water! Fishing gear aside, the set up works! But it’s always good to have luck on your side! But when my grandpa taught dad, and dad taught me at 3 for nearly 30 years… it’s all I know for the most part when targeting lake trout… when we still fish, I don’t have a conventional real and hold the pole upside down, so I’m not super crazy lol 😊
We call them trolling set ups. It’s an Ugly Stick Tiger 10-50 pound action where a smaller lake trout is still fun with the back bone for bigger! That trolling real has 10 colors lead core line, swivel, liter, down to my rapala. This kind of set up has caught us thousands of fish for generations… I appreciate your comment thought! 💯😊
