This is my second post, sorry. The lake I fish started having many fish that looked like that (big head/small body)about 5-6 years ago. I had one die in a tournament and brought it home to eat(couldn’t waste it), when I filleted it out it had a finesse worm or a drop shot worm in its digestive track. Worm was swelled up 3-4 times it’s normal size. It had almost worked it out. Now every time I catch a fish like that I wonder, is the forage low or is it trying to digest a plastic.

what rod do you have the shimano dc on?

I LOVE my Curado DC, as well as my Curado K. I have the DC on a Favorite Defender LunkersTV edition 7'3" Medium and the K is on a Bass Pro Shops Johnny Morris 7'6" medium heavy rod. They're both extremely smooth and powerful reels. Definitely worth the higher price. Diehard Shimano fan for life now. I just bought the 1000 size Nasci spinning reel and it's also a powerful and smooth reel for the price (around $100).

At $240, it is a bit pricey though. The Pod Cast --- an absolute yes, my gosh buddy, that'll probably take off like fires in Cali dude; the local action and what's being seen ... what's workin' or not, flammin' right there! --- Damn, a 6lb mouth with a 2.5lb body? (had to talk it up a bit... ;) ....... sounds like one of those "beach bods" LMAO

Hey bro...love your channels honesty and your very easy to watch personality. As you were talking about swimbaits after landing that big head bass. If you watch the Tactical Bassin channel, this is where I first heard of these baits. It called Trash Fish and it comes in sizes from about the size you had to a fair bit bigger. It seems to be made of a similar see through silicone type material without any included hooks. They recommend internal weighed hooks that wind up with an exposed hook like the bait you were using, but you can even rig it ‘Line Through’ if you wish to add a belly treble, or whatever seems best for you.
