I noticed that last couple videos I had to go back and look at other videos my wife said what are you doing I said I believe the fluke master has lost weight she was like who is that haha😂 I said oh let me fill ya in!
Wacky is the juice. You can use clear electrical shrink wrap instead of those crossover rings. Then push a nail weight perpendicular into the shrink wrap and it holds the weight better too.
Man, i feel the same way about the wacky. I'll usually stay on the shakey when i should give up and go to the wacky. And get beat. I usually throw it on a flick shake head because i lack patience.
The SMH worms are great! The z-man plastics are buoyant so the tails float up when on a jig head. They're incredible in the summer because you can leave them in one spot and just shake em. The GrandeBass air tail wigglers also float up for those of you who are looking for better shakey head plastics!
I got 10 Largemouth on a green pumpkin bitsy bug with a green pumpkin rage menace trailer today rigged the same way! I swim it and they just hammer it. You dont even gotta set the hook. Just reel it and they are hooked ! That has been the ticket the last week on my river in Ohio. There is no grass just wood and rock. I just use 10 lb mono for that set up. Its my new fav go to bait!
So about 2 yrs ago I stumbled on your channel I was a bit lost on things. I decided to go buy a white swim jig and a Zako white trailer, I started catching fish left and right. Even in ponds where there are zero shad. Then during the winter I got at black and blue jig. And added a bluegrass magic trailer from 6th sense and caught the fire out of them Now I’d like to share 2 of my faith you. I’m sure you already fish them but here they are A Daiwa neko macho worm in bubble gum with the tush hook from core tackle It glides so good and works very well in stained muddy water or where the bottom appears black Like lake oconee. I’m telling you , any lure in a pink/ bubble gum color is the jam Or a heddon one knocker walking bait in a bone color
If you don't have any light weights with you but don't want to go weightless, add a bead and bobber stop it in place. Glass beads are little heavier than plastic beads.
Love a wacky rig. I rig mine a bit different for deep water. Going to sound crazy but catching 3 bass in a row convinced me it works. Carolina rig it but instead of using a conventional weight I tied a dropshot weight about 2 ft above it. Goes thru the rocks very well. Like I said sounds crazy but it works very well. Thanks for the vid.
