Idea for power ups in this mode. Place the 2 best teams from each league, that aren't on a team already, in their respective state. When expanding that team then replaces the current one in the group. Example, Chiefs in Missouri , Chicago expands to Missouri, they replace the Bears with Chiefs. It will also help get other cities represented in some way if they are good enough.

I think you should do this again with more cities. You could include Milwaukee/Wisconsin just without a hockey team or you could combine larger regions like Salt Lake City with Las Vegas or Portland with Seattle and then the cities would have one life instead of two since there’s more of them.

Great video! Maybe teams stay on the wheel when they expand, and just get taken off the wheel after they play an actual game? Would help with teams like Colorado, Miami, and Texas.

I like this a lot but next time you should try to do teams with 3 or more so like Tampa and Houston etc could get in, teams with 3 only get 1 life

hey man, fellow canes fan here with a video idea - would love if you could have every city with at least one big 4 team be represented, so that if there’s no common sport they have to skip an attacking turn. Could be fun and upset-prone as some single-team cities hide till the juggernauts reach them

Another idea for you- do this but with states not just cities.- eg any state can call on any team from within their state to give them a chance. Eg California can call on any of the LA, SF, SD or SAC teams. and so on.Would get more states involved and create more matchups and less gaps on the board from the get go.

Love this video! Would be great to see you branch out to other sports, especially the NHL, my favorite (even though the Flyers will probably be missing the playoffs because they threw). You did a great job with all the other sports, so doing them, as well as big 4 again, would be awesome! The ONLY thing that was extremely unrealistic was during the Lakers and Warriors game. Draymond Green only hugging to get a foul at the end???? No way 2k. Green's sending an uppercut unprovoked 😂

If you combined St. Louis and Indianapolis you could have "Team Midwest" featuring the Cardinals, Blues, Colts, and Pacers, three of which are televised on Bally Sports Midwest and all four of which are competitive but not elite. You could also do a Pacific Northwest team with the Seahawks, Mariners, Kraken, and Trail Blazers, a Sierra Nevada team with the Raiders, Golden Knights, Kings, and A's (who will play in Sacramento for the next few seasons), a northern Ohio team with the Browns, Cavaliers, Guardians, and Blue Jackets, and as at least one other person said, a Central Florida team with the Magic, Lightning, Buccaneers, and Rays. Also a suggestion: to make this like other imperialism videos, an expansion adds a player from the "free-agent" pool of teams not present on the map to each of the four franchises, and a victory transfers a player from the losing team in the sport the game was played in to the winning team. You have the ability to add powerups to that mix as well.

Also an idea for future versions of this, maybe have places that have 3/4 teams, like Toronto, Pittsburgh, etc.., getting spins to take a team to add into their spot for the sport theyre missing. Like Toronto getting Buffalo or something

You should do this again with new rosters, but this time combine some cities to have more teams for example, maybe put the A’s in Las Vegas and the Jazz in Las Vegas to make a full team

Next time you play this mode, you Might for the final battle do best 2 of three sports. Wild Card does not count. When a sport is played it is taken off the wheel. This will make it more interesting. Love your videos

Love your content and amazing ideas... keep it up!! NEW IDEA: alliances... every so often you spin the wheel to pick two remaining teams which would then become "allies".. When they are allies they are each allowed to use the other teams' top two overall players in all matches that they have. This would not include QBs ex... made up situation if the 49ers and Rams were in a alliance... then the Rams would be able to use CMC and Bosa, if they were the top two on their team, and the niners would be able to use Donald and Kupp. Both teams would obviously still be able to use their own players, it is not a trade. If one of the teams loses, the "borrowed" players would not be able to be stolen. There is two ways that an alliance can be broken... 1. If one of the team loses 2. If the arrow fates the two teams to play each other.

This was great! Heres a few ideas for a future one: Have a Tampa team and just put the Magic there with the other ones. Add player stealing either through jus the winning sport taking a player from the losing one (ex. Chicago bears take Jefferson) or have every team in the city take one player from every team in the losing city And this one is more experimental but have the team that loses be eliminated from the city and if that sport is selected then the city will have to do a match with their worst team (ex. The bruins get eliminated and they are invaded by new york #1 and it is hockey, then it will be a pats v giants game instead.)

Idea for a second vid maybe, consider doing the wild card as maybe not the states best team but the most lopsided matchup. For example when the Rangers played the Giants, the Stars vs San Jose would’ve been much more lopsided for Dallas

If you do end up doing this again you should put the thunder back in Seattle and have them represent the super sonics.

If you do another one an idea could be that you could have one life for each team and if they lose that team can't be chosen when that city is attacking. Instead of that it could be for each fight you could have one game in each sport and whichever team wins the most games subsumes the other. If there's a tie spin the wheel of sports and whichever one it lands on that game's result breaks the tie.

I have a suggestion for the next time you do an imperialism like this again. Maybe when a team expands to a different state. The team has an opinion on switching one of their teams. For example when Detroit expended to Ohio. Detroit has an opinion to switch a team like the pistons to the cavaliers.
