From someone who has been cutting glass since he was 5 years old this is nice equipment. But I must say that you can have all the tools in the world but if your initial cut/pressure is not right you will be splitting and ruining glass all the time. Cutting glass is all about the cut. It takes time to learn how much pressure is needed and the right sound of barely scoring the glass perfectly.
I have some mirrored wardrobe doors that needs modifying, and I'm really intimidated by cutting the mirror. Such a niche skill. My question is, is it possible to make a cut with the mirror still attached to the door?
