its good to hear interviews like this from my generation. the only way to nourish the young minds is to find a way for this new generation to pass the word down to their peers, as well as having more postive role models at a higher pedestal like past generation otherwise only a few will listen. we also spend a lot of time trying to tear this generation down but our generation along with the internet played a vital role in leading this generation. the difference from our gen and this one is we relied on our elders for wisdom, we had less distractions from the media or more time to perfect our craft. this generation has their elders but a alternative or listening to the internet, and they have also inherited the negative aspect of hiphop in the 90s that we let go under the radar since we had more of a balance compared to today with actual role models.

Atlanta did have a couple of acts already but when OutKast shot a video wearing A hats and rapped talm bout Campbellton Rd/College Park.......the A was in there. No disrespect to Kilo, Raheem and the cats that came before Outkast , they repped the A true enough but the DF made the industry respect the rap game in the Dirty South! The industry is simply creating a product and then introduces them to the world. Cardi B is a great example.
