As you saw in the last video we made on the big green machine 1968 Pontiac GTO, we re-introduced this iconic muscle car to the channel. We also explained some short-term upgrades and touched on the long-term go-fast upgrades Kyle has planned. Well, it is time for the first upgrade to compliment an existing upgrade Kyle did last year. Kyle already installed the CVF serpentine pully kit on his wicked 462 cubic inch Pontiac engine, a much needed upgraded over the stock setup. To make it work better and ensure the belt is properly tight, Kyle opted to call Luhn Performance and order up their belt tensioner kit.
This might seem like a small task, but we are covering every upgrade, small to large. When it comes to power and performance, all the parts work in unison and quality matters with each one. In this video, we install the Luhn Performance belt tensioner and talk about quality! Not only was it a simple and quick installation, and the product itself is manufactured very well. As you saw, we did use a lift but that is not a necessity, jack stands will work just fine. Every little performance-oriented upgrade matters, this is proof of that!
