Why buy something that everyone wants then something that everybody don’t want? 🤔 I rather have a sleeper than something everyone and their momma wants 🤷🏾♂️. #dontbeafollowerbealeader
@@nerdshininglightw7014 tbh if you think I spent a arm and a leg for my built then you wrong lol you’ll be surprised if I was to tell you how much I spent on my car
@@nerdshininglightw7014 maybe if he knows someone to get cheap parts and put them on for free. No less than 7k otherwise with all the mods and installation
For around 5k$ you can put a hellcat blower on the 5.7 hemi they have a bolt on kit already just that gets you around 640 hp to the wheels! Not the crank👍🏼
Rt beat him plain and simple. Spin or no spin you still lost. When John force/pros spin and they lose, they accept it and give the other driver their credit. That 5.7 right there is a beast, bro got his combo right. I would like to know his true mod list.
@22:11 left lane. Modded R/T and Modded Scat it greatly depends on the mods. Same mods different story but if the scat only modded it’s air box and the r/t modded cam, injectors, air intake, wider tires. That’s different. 5.7 can take higher compression it’s a great engine. But if the 6.4 has the forge pistons, rings and a few more things to counter the dumb EPA forcing dodge to put the rings so high up
Headers won’t do much by themselves they can add power if you have the right set up it’s not like a cam. But in the end only thing that truly makes a difference is force induction. Unless you go bigger motor or force induction all those lil things wont do much of anything. Other than that th #1 thing is the driver.
I got a modded N/A RT Challenger that puts it down ! I think there were a few that came from the factory with a bit of added love compared to most ! But then again just about any car will get beat by a car that hooks if its just spinning the tires.
Yeah that's what makes the 6.4 bad. You have to rebuild the bottom end you have no choice. But if you look at the big picture that's why dodge's line up is priced like it is. There is no reason to build your engine instead selling your car and buying the next trim above it.
@@1paceotto go with the whipple rt, its already faster most likely and i still wouldn't take the risk even though the blocks are improved in the 18+ Scats. if you dont plan on modding either one is a great option but rt can handle a good amount from factory and they arent that expensive to mod. edit: weak points on scats are the pistons and rods, the blocks were never really the issue.
@@kellyoubrejr544 i definitely plan on modding for sure. I’d just have to figure out how much the previous owner actually changed on the RT. You know if any internals were changed etc.,
@@1paceotto for sure, I would also say the weakest point on them is probably the pistons also but they seem to hold up better than 6.4s. If he already did those you should be pretty straight forward with more power.
@@kellyoubrejr544 ok bet preciate you bro big help. I’m driving out to test drive the car soon. If I go with it I’ll be sure to ask about the upgrades if any to the pistons at the dealer. I just wanted a widebody TA with a sunroof but the Whipple RT caught my attention. I like sleeper builds as well. What you have?
A 5.7 can get up with a scat but the thing is the money you’ll spend to achieve this feat you could have just bought the scat but its your preference built or bought can go either way
I will never understand why folks get these lower trims then aspire to make them capable of competing with the higher trims. Why not just save time and money and just buy the car with the power you was looking to have. Cause a person will say there car makes this or that hp but how much did you spend and how reliable is the build.
Definitely come out much cheaper when you mod and with another 5-7k he can be keeping up with hellcats. Better go watch modern red Hemi🤣 boy was neck and neck with a redeye In a 16’ challenger rt
@@Murphys_Law9 you real delirious boy😂 go buy a scat, get bored when you can’t keep up with a fucking stock 5.0, try ta modify that scat without upgrading internals which cost a fuck ton more then these 5.7 mods JUST to beat a 5.0. Now you can’t beat a cat, you gotta N/A motor that can’t take enough psi to be worth the money you dumped into it, so you push it and it explodes now these niggas with 5.7s got prochargers, turbos, an superchagered rts while your scat exploded tryna keep up with some stock cars lmao, rts are to be built for speed, scats are bought for speed.
@@Murphys_Law9 that wasn’t my point lol, you were arguing spending more on a car that can’t handle what the lesser trim can without forged internals.. My point was id rather spend money on a car that can be modified for less and bought for less.
