I'm 60. I started running a torch and welding with my dad at around 12. Your cut came out nice. I can tell a lot by the sound of the torch. I have my left hand under my right. That gives me the straightest cut. Very little slag on your cut. It sounded like you were using more 02 than I would but it came out beautiful. Taking pride in your work is a beautiful thing. Well done sir.

Great video. Yes, a welding turntable would make your life easier, used ones are pretty reasonable.

I live in the area and have dealt with this rock, it's dolomite limestone. It makes a HO Ram ring when it hits it.

Isaac,you mention Curtis from Cutting Edge Engineering in your video. You are both superb in your respective fields in my mind. Maybe a Intercontinental collaboration could be on the cards in the future. You would have to travel to Australia though,as Curtis probably wouldn't be allowed into the U.S :)
