What I find interesting is that you are welding a steel plate onto cast iron. Your using MIG, so I am imagining the use of the pin scaler is to impregnate filler into the cast iron? I have an old Oliver tractor with a hole in the block - wonder if I could use your technique to patch it.
This dumbass makes a 21 minute video and doesn't check before hand to see if he has any silicon brass rod, which he didn't. Quite the amateur film maker!!!!
What are the power requirements for that Lincoln MIG welder that you used in this video? I assume that you are powering it off of your Miller gas powered welder. Does this serve as a really good alternative to a suitcase wire feeder? Because let's face it, those suitcases are expensive!
I know it was a crappy job, but I would rather you do it right than someone else tacking it on. If it did come apart, people could get hurt. I am glad you did it.
After those jokes you could have just as easily turned off the camera and not lost the viewership. We would’ve waited. This video has been painful. But not bad enough to turn away.
I'm ashamed of the engineering on the track. The track takes all the load and punishment of the machine to the ground. Of all places to go minimum metal strength. The track system is not one of those places. Hopefully, the other side doesn't fail soon for the customer. Have a happy 4th of July, everyone.
You are lucky because the frame and the tube is seted themselfs in a correct angle at the siting position. This issue is run out the field service range, all the folks lucky by twice, because the pin is can not come out , when the frame is stand. Try to not be a hero and u last longer with that amaunt of luck!
Issac, wonderful video, that new Hypertherm torch head looks super duper handy...... I had seen them at the LWS, but did not really think about the ease of getting into such tight places...that was tight as a crab's ass in there, Water Tight !!!! Have a wonderful 4th of July, Best Wishes from Orlando , Paulie Brown
The best reality chanel ever. I keep this thing for a while: when an tool was fall just before the critical operation was start, there is a signal to not do or not do that way.
