I know it's the winter version but I really love some color combinations they have for this version, are they really warm for summer? I would like to wear them the whole year
Hey man are size are you in your Nike sizes? I am an us9.5 in Nike and thinking to get half size down in Adidas? Will it fit for me?Appreciate it your work!
I just purchased the adidas terrex ultraboost cld rdy boot for work since I need something warm and comfortable because I'm going to be outside on my feet for 8hrs a day during Wisconsin winters. So far no snow in Wisconsin so I haven't had a chance to test them out. One thing that pisses me off though is the price point, $250.00 which came to $280 after taxes and shipping and Adidas made them ineligiable for any discounts or coupon codes. I will probably get these UB cold rdy version too though just so I have a comfy warm pair of actual sneakers to wear in the winter when its not completely slushie out.
UB21 is just not wide feet friendly. Bought one half size up and still, my small toes hurt after 10 minutes wearing it. Had to return it. I've the DNA in half size up and they were fine. Will wait for UB22. Anyway where I'm from, cold ready is a hell no.. 90 degrees Fahrenheit on a average. Clima is my safest bet.
Tried the Ultraboost 21 and the plastic part that wraps around the heel poked into the side of my ankle, so had to return. I also didn't find the cushioning that great. Maybe I got a defective pair, but quality/comfort of Hoka seams a lot better if cushioning is the primary concern.
Picked up a pair after watching this video and I was the same the color way didn’t sit with me but when I got them on feet looked amazing, definitely a bit more stability than usual UB21’s
I’m 54 and have worn everything through the years and the UB21’s are the best I’ve ever worn. I can walk , run, basketball, tennis or just casually walking around and like I said they’re the best. I never thought I’d see a sneaker design as good as this and they fit so perfect and snug and once tied they easily slip on and off.
@@مدينةبوڨرةالبليدة I never wore them in the pouring rain but I would think that they would get wet. They would be ok in 30 degree weather if you wear winter socks
I have about 20 pair of ultraboost.. these are the most comfortable I have.. by far.. the 20s. I hate that you can't slip them on becuase of the rubber around foot insert. And they were stiff as hell.. these 21s.. amazing.. I will get the 22s in a couple weeks
These look good im not a adidas guy they dont fit my foot like nikes. But can u review the pegasus trail 3s with gortext from nike they are amazing with the react midsole, I feel like they compete with these and are cheaper
I bought nike zoomx by following your reviews and wanted to also get regular ultraboost as well. But found out about this version and it was no brainer, I alternate between this and nike depending on weather. Good to hear good words on it from you as well.
Will there be more color options for this shoe in the U.S.? I noticed Adidas in Germany has 6 color options. Also saw an article in the U.S. about this shoe in black. Said it would drop in November but never happened.
Do they fit more snug than the regular ultraboost 21? I ordered size 11 triple black which is my regular ultraboost size Hope they fit! Please do a review of the NB hierro v6 GTX!!!
After your review I wanted to pick these up, but they have completely disappeared from Adidas and other online stores. Is this going to come back or is this a problem with supply chain?
I use my ultraboost 21's almost everyday, and I actually run in them regularly. People say that heavy running shoes are bad for your feet, but they actually make you stronger. Other youtubers agree with me and having a Cold Ready version is awesome!
I bought this week Adidas Ultraboost Coldridy shoes, black, white and yellow, beautiful, and when I tried I threw water over the shoes, the shoes got water on my feet and this is bad
hey I'm not a sneaker head but I need a new pair of sneakers to last me for a while and was wondering if people have used these shoes for everyday use like even in the summer and I couldn't decide if I wanted the cold.rdy or the normal ones. it gets pretty snowy in the winter and decently hot in the summer.
These are more for temperate zones really anything above 25 Celcius is too steamy on feet and ice they ain't trail shoes you need terrex gore tex stuff for that
You need to go up a half size on these !! I just got my triple black size 11 which is my regular ultraboost 21 size, but the cold ready version has a harder toe guard that goes up higher and litterally jabs my big toe , returning these for soze 11.5 , disappointing 😑
Half is enough, say your 'true to size' is 10.5 get 11. Your TTS should already be roomy though that's standard sport shoe routine. My feet are 26.8cm and 10.9cm wide and I get 10.5 TTS or in this case 11. Adidas is always one of the two
Man I hope they are squishier than the UB21s. I'm not a fan of mine besides the ridiculous fluorescent colorway because of the feel. The sock upper of the UB21 got really old to me really fast too. They seem to have addressed every gripe I have with the base shoe.
I just bought a pair from the adidas store and got the for 40% off for Black Friday! At the time, mostly everything was 40% off with some exceptions. I did have to go up 1/2 a size…due to the toe material being uncomfortable for me.
They fixed tongue?! That's all I needed to hear - one of the reasons I loved the original models of the UB was getting my foot in-and-out, and just how good it felt along the tongue and collar... never understood why they keep doing the weird floppy tongue on the newer models
I feel the same about how the Ultra Boost 21 are slept on, I think they worth the price, it is on sale right now and its definitely worth it. I like it so much bought a second pair.
Yes, they have 6 colors including this one and a fire black and solar red that sold out. Yes, adidas US, please give it to us. Great call out by the way...
@@Wreevesjr I hope eventually other colors will be made available. I was planning on getting adios pro 2 in Berlin colorway, but it’s exclusively available for some European countries and UK. The only new color available in the US is the NYC color, which I don’t like. This is such a bummer adidas market some of their products with particular colors in certain regions only.
That is a slippery slope, looking at Adidas websites from other countries. I especially remember a few years ago seeing a whole fleet of ultra boost colorways in different Asian City themes, only for those colorways to really stay on the Asian Adidas sites. I took a peek at the Denmark Adidas site, and those other cold ready colorways look great, along with a navy and taupe colorway of the ultra boost uncaged lab, but that country exclusivity usually means it is unlikely to reach the states. Maybe make a Danish friend?
I hope Adidas hears you about their tongues! Also those non-cushioned collars on the original cold.rdy began to dig into my ankles once the heel started to wear down.
I liked how you showed yourself pouring water on the old video, does anyone know if these upper will deflect water similar to how goretex would? Or is it like the free hiker parleys where water goes through them very easily.. based on how hes said the lace hole is somewhere water can go through, i assume that means the toe box will not allow water to go through so easily? I just got a Nike Pegasus Trail 3 GTX and I haven't worn them since Im in a big dilemma unsure whether I should return the pegasus gtx for these...hoping to get people's input, which one would you choose? Also please consider that i also live in yvr, where there's mostly rain and not a lot of snow, plus i also got a brand new pair of free hiker for those days where goretex is a must.
thanks in advanced to summarize: please vote between Pegasus trail gx VS Ultraboost Cold rdy for Vancouver, BC weather. If I step on a puddle by accident and the water splashes on the upper, will it go trhough in these shoes? Thank u thank u
Out of stock in my size :( are they much more comfortable or anything? I may get regular UB21's since they've basically changed my life with how little lower body fatigue I have 😂😂
They’re laced like normal pretty much. But instead of only using the lace holes, you also incorporate the cage between each lace hole. With the laces that come with UB, you end up using the entire length and have a perfect end at the top eyelet.
My all white ultraboost 21’s are definitely my most worn shoes at the moment. I take them on long easy runs and wear them out with friends or to school. They feel great. They look great. Awesome shows!
I have been wanted UB21 for a while now. Couple days ago, I was about to buy it. But i saw 4D run 1.0 on discount for only $70! So i got to delay UB 21.. again.
It rare to see people wearing these UB21...can't say I've seen more than a couple of pairs..the heel is too thick. Own 19s and 20 but I passed on this one..not lifestyle enough
Why would they go with white? If I’m wearing them in the rain or snow I’m going to destroy those and I’m not the type to clean my shoes every time they get dirty 👎🏽
I just returned a pair of UB21's because of the firmness. I am spoiled to that squishy feel of my past Ultraboost. I was really surprised that the Ultraboost 21 didn't have the squishy feel I'm accustomed to. I would like to try the cold ready shown here but they likely won't be squishy enough, lol. With that being said, if I were a runner, I would probably prefer the firmer, more responsive, shoe. I don't run,I just need something to cushion my feet while standing on concrete floors all day.
Thank for the thorough review. This colorway is awesome. The UB21 is a versatile sneaker 👟. I'm awaiting for the UB22. I got a Adidas drawing to get them for my feedback on the things that I liked for the new UB22 from experiences on their sneakers. Adidas really reaches out to their customers for feedback which a great asset on why Adidas has surpass and elevated pass Nike. Nike seems to struck in retro trashed research. Adidas has the edge with the Prime Green technology and does a more asethethic feel and look on their sneakers. Nike sneakers are made for trash and look like trash.
When I’m at the gym I still see 90% of guys in NB’s. Sorry they look corny to me. I’m 43 and still want that great sneaker look and adidas always comes through with style comfort & performance. Too many NB sheep out there
Absolutely love these shoes. Thank you for your reviews and this one in particular. I have the UB21 COLD.RDY in the black/white/yellow. They are definitely more comfortable than my UB21’s. You nailed it: the style, the fit, the tongue, comfort, tread…it’s just such an awesome shoe! Highly recommend. For what’s it’s worth they fit true to size for me (size 9 in UB DNA, 21, and these).
@@wallerbearsnc2521Good for everyday wear for sure. While these are warmer than the standard UB 21s I would not characterize them as particularly warm overall and certainly not too warm to wear every day (in my view).
@@arturamirkhanyan8951 I don't know how many days you been wearing your UBs but I'm 130lbs and mines never even lasted 2 years and I don't run in them???? 🧢
