Big L always has the best Verse listen to “8 iz enough”. He sets the bar so damn high. It’s twice as good as anyone else’s verse on that song and that’s a good song ❤
Nas had the flow but not the mentality. Back when I rapped Nas and Big L were the guys I learned from....but man...knowing the internet I was afraid to say some of the crazy stuff L put on wax... like if it didn't work out those words would come back to bite me. I deleted several songs out my catalog once I saw how rappers started having their words used in court.
If this man was alive The world would be a lot diffrent. Considering he's only 3 years older than Kanye, ALOT of these rapper wouldn't chat squat, if Lemont was still doing his thing.
HARD A-- song 👍💯%!! Everyone on this song held it down but Fat Joe is the most FEROCIOUS on this track! Spitting like he's programmed to take a person's h--d off!! This is the Fat Joe that I don't hear that much anymore. He doesn't have to spit like this on every single song but Id like to hear him like this more often. FJ one of my favorite MC'S 👍!
