Completely agree, the moment in your rap-enthusiast journey you get to listen to big L you understand what you have previously missed. Hands down the best rapper to ever touch the mic, I ain’t hearing anybody debating on this except for Biggie and Nas. Never heard any rapper spit it as smooth as he did, never heard this type of punchlines and metaphores, never heard such a rap-melodic voice, he really had it all. Sadly he also had something that most of rappers lack, that is street credibility, but he had too much of it and ended up getting killed because of his past. Can’t get over the fact we missed on what Big L would’ve become…RiP L, you are missed but never forgotten ❤️

And I have the feeling it's not just me... I can't think of any other passed rapper that still gets mourned like L. He truly was something special. He had it all... except time 💔

Literally this dude got killed almost 30 years ago at the age of fucking 24 and at that time he still didn’t make it to the mainstream, but still with only one album out he managed to become a rap legend and to be recognized maybe as the best to ever do it. Big L the greatest ❤️ Rest in Peace man I’m sure he’s having great times up there rapping with the others
