#BigLakeAZ #KayakFishing Took the Kayak out on Big Lake in the White Mountains of Arizona. It was a super windy day so I dropped anchor on one spot and positioned myself so I could cast with the wind. I NEVER MOVED from that position because we caught fish all day. Some fish I hooked bad enough that they would have died if I released them. The family was cooking Fajitas so I kept my limit and added a catch and cook clip at the end. Big Lake Is a truly beautiful place! It was a ton of fun with amazing scenery. I definitely Got Out And Lived! Thanks For Watching!

Fly fishing the shoals will net you the big boys.. especially leech and chironomid patterns

Was there this morning & yesterday. I miss identied brooks for cutthroat I think. Got 3 brook or cutthroat from the shore on drop shot. Then hit up the dam. From the dam got the blueist rainbow on the same setup.

s8nmail2 that’s awesome! The brooks are usually a lot more colorful than the cutthroats. The brooks usually have bright orange spots and the cutthroat have red patterns on their gills/throat hence the name cutthroat. The cutthroat in big lake are usually kinda bland and the brooks very colorful. And all the rainbows I have caught there are super good fighters. Glad you were successful on your trip. Great job!

Thanks Mark! Basically we just made Fajitas and seasoned the fish with a fajita seasoning. Its pretty simple but tasty

Worm and a panther martin switching back and forth. The Key with the worm was to reel it in slowly. They didn't want a sitting worm this go around!
