This trip we ventured to the White Mountains to fish Christmas Tree Lake. We caught close to ten fish all on dry flies and missed more that could’ve added to the total on the day! The main fly that was working were blue damsel flies. It was an awesome day having the whole lake to ourselves and catching a bunch of Apache trout! If you fish on this lake make sure to get permits for the day. It is required to fish for the day and cost $30 per person!
