If you think about it, naayil, the reason you do more damage than the eclipse build is because you live longer meaning more opportunities to throw more Q's in fights. Landing more rotations of Q's is always more damage than let's say, only 1 or 2 Q rotations with 50 more bonus AD and then dying or having to base. Also, building resistance makes your healing much more valuable vs. little resistance. For example, let's say you heal 200 health from your passive and you have 100 armor, which is 50% damage reduction. That's an additional effective health of 400 that the enemy Draven has to chew through (without penetration, of course). Now let's swap the stats a bit. You bought 25 AD(pickaxe), but have 40 less Armor(chain vest). With 60 armor and healing of 205hp (200 + (25 ad* 0.2 omnvivamp from Lv 2 E) from your passive, that calculates to an effective 328 health. In conclusion, building aatrox should be a balance between ad, armor pen (so that u can kill), health (to survive the initial burst), and resistance (to make your healing a fucking nuisance) to deal the most practical damage. Of course, there are always exceptions and very grey areas against certain match ups and team comps (like Fiora/Camille), and if they don't focus you in fights, who cares about hp right. TL;DR basically having more HP is an indirect resource for damage PS I'm not trying to undermine your skill, but your damage is a bit inflated this game due to you smacking the living shit out of Mundo most of the game, who has the most health and healing in their team.
