Pricey bit of kit, cool though. Imagine getting sharked and losing the whole thing, Having it on its own rod would be a good idea, but probably end with tangles with mainline. Also looks like its got a bluetooth app for your phone, might be easier for the bro to do if he's solo

I was at Matata beach same day as you at low tide scouting for fishing holes but got put off by the sand bank that stretched the length of Matata beach just off shore at the end of my casting range. I didn't think to fish on either side of high tide which would have cancelled out the sand bank problem. That could have been me with two snaps.

I was out at Matata beach on the same day as you, scouting for fishing holes at low tide. A sand bank stretched the entire length of Matata beach, just off shore (only obvious at low tide), right on the end of my casting range, and that prevented me from surfcasting the low tide. I should have fished the changing tide at high tide like you did and maybe I would have ended up with a couple of snaps as well:)

That's pretty good, but I reckon my fishing drone is a better buy. Advantages - can make 4 to 5 flights on one battery charge taking 6 hooks out to 500m; Drops off hooks and trace and flies back; no risk of loss by shark bite off. Flies in wind up to 20Knots (maybe more); Easy to fly - returns home automatically. Downside is - I haven't caught any snapper at Matata straights yet - last Saturday was a blank day for me. Still that's fishing eh?

Your better off fishing with rubber as usual the person your fishing with on this video sounds more like of a beginner that doesn't know how to catch fish. Stick to what you keep doing, you were getting your regular supply from it. With this video took you until dark to get a fair decent amount.
