Bob Nelson!!! I want to take a moment to tell you just how much you and you comedy have kept me laughing and smiling since I was 10 years old!! My grandmother had HBO at her house when I was growing up and like a lot of kids, I was left home alone a lot. I remember the first time watching your one man show and thinking...wow!! That gorilla sure does clean up the stage well!! I watched the whole thing and got to the end where the lady comes out and belts out some sizzling gospel!! The second time catching your show on HBO and it was just about over. So, I raced to the phone to call my mom who was still at work. Bob, I practically rearranged the living room trying to get the phone in the kitchen to stretch close enough to the TV! So, of course I cranked the volume past max! My poor mom!! I can only imagine what it must have been like hearing me freaking out on the other end of the phone trying desperately to explain the explosive sounds pouring in her direction!! But, I don't think she ever did get to watch them full show with me. I watched it over and over and over. The full special was on youtube for a little while. I love Jiffy Jeff, EppyEpperman, Tom! With the sideways helmet, Number 72, peppy weppy (I keek thee bawl!), the joyous moose dance, the duck routine, WILBY and this son, and everyone in between!! Bob, Thank YOU for your talent, your message, your....everything!! I wish there was a way to do something more for you than just say Thank You. I share your skits with all my friends because you have brought such joy and light to me when life was at it's darkest. I am so happy to see you posting on youtube again!!You know, going through tough times allows someone to be an example to others, showing that it is possible to come out the other side of things. And that gives hope to those also facing strife. You are an amazing gift! I am not the only one you have touched with your comedy.
