Part 2/3 of my two day trip to Lake Bullen Merri in South West Victoria. Always find these types of vids funny sometimes, the fisherman catching the best meat and nutrients on the planet, releasing them and eating shitty carbs for lunch and a fkn coke to top it off 😄

Some fish for food, some fish for sport, if we all fished for food there would not be enough to go around. eg. you are not allowed to fish for Snapper in SA gulfs and have not been able to for years. If only we liked carp 🤣

@@soobz if people stick to only taking what they need it is fine, the whole population is not going to start turning up at your lake. My point was also about diet though, take it from someone who has had health issues 20+ years, get 100g+ of good clean protein a day, especially from a source like these fish and cut out the crap, then come thank me in 12-24 months, fish like these are A grade premium nutrition.

Hey Pete, I couldn’t agree more with that statement! The only reason I released the trout in this video was because I was fishing all day and had no way to keep them fresh as I had packed light to stay mobile. I ended keeping 3 trout in the evening so I could keep them as fresh as possible!
