The southern Mexicans were always the strongest since day 1 the only reason they dint act up back in the early 70s and early 80s is because they had they own to worry about Thas when the South and north used to go added big so they had no time for us blacks ! In the late 80s early 90s the southern Mexicans had full control of la county jail and most prisons in California I did 15 years stretch

There was racial tension all the way back in the 60s inside the System. Mexicans aren't completely innocent or absolved of any aggression either. You had situations in the Ramona Gardens, back around 67. Mexicans targeting Black families, and no I'm not confusing it with the incident from years ago (2016 ish). I'm talking 1967. Some brothers had to go into the RG's and get at the Veteranos. Then the issues stopped over there. There were other smaller situations, elsewhere. The Crips ramped things up with the bullying though.

Now as far as the 1967 situation where Big U***, J. H***** and other brothers went into the Gardens, and got at the Veteranos to get their lil homies in line. You have to be old enough or know who was around.
