East Side Bishops Claudy Clay born in Los Angeles 1955. He grew up with on the east side of South Los Angeles, attended Russel Elementary and Drew Jr High School before dropping out of Jefferson High School and graduating to the California Department of Corrections in 1973. In 1974 he found himself in Tracy Prison with his childhood friend, Raymond Washington.

This is the type of dude AC moses is talking about when he quotes they were trying to differentiate crips and non crip gangs (bloods) because guys like him would get in there and not fight with other non crip gangs against the crips, he would get there before there were other bishops but since you not bishop he not finna help you fight a crip because “he cool and grew up with certain crips” even though the new blood regime was for all non crip hoods who had problems with crips. His outcome is the prime example of “ NOBODY IS BIGGER THEN THE PROGRAM”

I've seen Nortes get set up by both parties Bloods and Crips. There is no Alliances only suckers who allow themselves to get played and killed. I gave a hitter to a foe, all love, but when I needed one back " crickets" left me to get killed or so they thought. When it came back around the foe asked for some hitters again. Nope can't do it. They got smashed the fuck up and we're crying 😭 because they didn't get any assistance. Too many Nortes get played like that and killed.

Being down in tha DIRTY SOUTH I can admit that at 1st in the early 90's yes I did think the Northern Vatos was DOGs! It was only until I moved to SeaTown in 92 that I learned differently! Actually my Tribe literacy expanded! Also understood the LP's in HUSTLETOWN we would bump into wasn't CRIPs! LMAO I knew this 1 was going 2 be good, and waiting on the next 1! Politics in prison same as "politics" out, but more frank. Poor/hood politicians criming vs rich politicians criming (extortion, hits, $$$ laundering, h trafficking, bribery, pay-to-play, s assault, theft, fencing, d r ug trafficking...). Problem isn't crime, but who gets to commit it.

He’s not 100% accurate the Nortenos were closer to the crips and Bay Area blacks not so much with bloods , in California youth authority they had a thing called C14 (crip 14) …. Had nothing to do with the color of the rags , and the alliance between the north and blacks was not just based on the north been out numbered by the south , it was also the Aryan brotherhood being allies with the south . That’s the main reason the blacks and North became allies, it went both ways
