Sentinal : i need a cannon Doofenshmirtz : I present the "ironhide annihilator" with this you take over the whole TRI STATE AREA Sentinal : Or just three autobots
This is such a great KO figure I’ve seen, love how BMB made a removable backpack and gave him a more accurate backpack piece. I feel like he’s a great size for BMB Optimus cause in the height comparison, you can see sentinel is 2 feet higher than prime so it’s a great scale
Poor Ironhide, didn't even get a warriors death, just straight up shot in the back and melted into rust. I do love SS61 though, and this OSKO looks even better.
I have to say this is the best K.O, the hand was painted and can move, the face was painted, the truck was really accurate, we have the gun with the shield, and the sword was painted, this K.O just blow my mind
I'm really glad you said "credit to the hasbro designers" for the sculpt. I would get this but 1) it's too big and 2) the leg issue you mentioned. His thighs should be much bigger and his hips should be wider, not to mention the small head. All issues I can accept on a voyager figure but not on an MP.
I cannot begin to emphasize how much I agree with 7:10 In the novelization, Optimus actually accepts Megatron's offer of a truce, instead of opting to be a sociopathic murderer. This not only makes Prime more consistent with his other incarnations, it also means that AoE and TLK never happen, which is usually a good thing.
Didn't AOE happen because the government decided to go after the remaining Transformers as a direct result of what happened to Chicago? Optimus sparing Megatron wouldn't have changed that. Granted, KSI wouldn't have created Galvatron, but Lockdown would've still allied himself with Cemetery Wind on behalf of Quintessa and the Creators.
@@DankBlitzwing If you want, you could even say Lockdown and Cemetary Wind took down Megatron. That sure would be a big victory for them, something that would encourage them and their supporters to keep going after the rest.
I wouldn't say he doesn't go with "anything". Should fit in pretty nicely with Black Mamba's Megatron and their Optimus as well. As long as you're prepared to really lock into the oversized figure lineup, he'll work there! Fits well with Black Apple Optimus and Unique Toys' Dark of the Moon Megs also.
I actually have Studio Series Sentinel Prime, and he has the same problem with the leg tabs. Most of the time they're not flush the rest of the vehicle (the number doesn't line up either.)
This one should have a little bit of pre-recorded voice like the Tactics Waistcoat Optimus Prime...which, strangely, has recorded the voice of Soundwave in the first part of the Bumblebee movie.
I feel so conflicted about this figure. One. It’s perfect. I love the transformation the robot mode is so gorgeous omg i need it. Buuuuuut he killed ironhide. My favorite character was put down without even firing a single shot. That was so wrong and I will forever hate sentinel prime for that. But this figure looks is good. But I hate him. Ahhhhhhhhh
I really don't get why KO/Third-Party companies make their stuff so sharp. Toys are meant to be played with, and the only thing they should be hurting is your wallet. Like, do people actually complain about blunted plastic?
Pretty sure most high-end figures have sharp edges simply because they are collector items, not meant for kids but adults. Besides, having sharp edges for weapons means realism as it's how they are. supposed to be.
@@dsharp4763 ehh not really though, if you look at emgos video he shows the comparisons between mpm prime, the ko upscaled mpm prime and megatron and he still towered over all of them, like prime in the movie both sentinel and Optimus were relatively the same height but with the mpm prime he comes up to his chest windows, I would love if we was mpm height though that would be perfect
@@philshome2776 Correction: I mean the OS MPM's. MPM Optimus has always been too small compared to MPM Bumblebee. OS Sentinel might still be too tall for OS Optimus, but then again I did say relatively haha.
Except factory sample reviews are not only scummy, they ruin the suprise of legitimate reveals for everyone in the community, steal views from other reviewers, are actually flat out stolen, rather than the design of a figure being copied, altered, and improved upon. They are not the same thing.
@@windowbewbs9064 both are equally illegal so it makes no difference to me. And no they don’t ruin the surprise. All of them so far have been correctly transformed and get the same amount of hype as normal reveals. The only ones who somehow say it’s ruined their reveal is people who complain about the leak instead of talking about the figure.
@@octobotimus Um, no. As I said, factory samples are stolen in person from the factory, often before Hasbro has even revealed the figures, and sold off to shitty reviewers, and you can bet your ass that as soon as Hasbro finds the leaker, he's on the street. Counterfeits are illegal, KOs, while of dubious morality, are not illegal as long as they aren't 1:1 copies of the original product, and don't breach on trademarks. If it were illegal, do you not think Hasbro would have slammed the hammer down on the dozens of third parties who do OSKOs and KOs? And those of us who "complain" about leaks, are the ones who have a moral compass and choose to not celebrate petty crime.
@@windowbewbs9064 even 3rd party designs are illegal. Hasbro owns the sole rights to the characters and designs. They are just as illegal, you just don’t want to admit it. Weijang got obliterated and they were making modified KO’s and original designs. It doesn’t matter what you think, the law sees both equally illegal.
@@octobotimus Funny that websites like ShowZ can exist then if its some sort of underground toy robot crime ring, its not like these are mythical creatures that only appear under a full moon, and if its so illegal, than Hasbro would have done something about it after all these years. As I just told you, when a 3P tries to pawn their product off as the original, that is illegal, when a 3P creates their own product, or alters their KO enough to avoid trademark and copyright, on a technicality, that is completely legal. And I have no bias, if thats what you're trying to get at, I don't buy or pay much attention to KO's or 3P.
@@Eternal_Sky_Tardis No it was an original character, that they slapped the name Ironhide onto. It is Ironhide in name only, with 0 similarities with the source material. An extremely poot adaptation. Although the same could be said for the majority of "characters" in those movies
