You join me today in the county of Royal Berkshire on one of my club waters, where I will be targeting pike at a big 20 acre gravel pit. This lake has a few pike in it, not massive pike but the lake is usually good for a bite or two. We are now in the month of December with temperatures at 10c with a cold westerly wind and cloudy conditions making it not a bad day to go in pursuit of pike. Join me as I show you how I go about fishing these big pits, using a good old favourite tactic of mine ledger dead baiting.
