It was on 425 for a while with both kits turned on. No cage, full interior, on pump E85. For a legit nitrous street driver it was fast. It went 5.60’s on no prep.
That is WHAT I LOVE ABOUT YOU!!!! LEGIT STREET FAST ON LITTLE CASH. KNOWLEDGE ALWAYS WINS. Love the SRC family; you guys prove that hard work truly pays off. When you don't have cash........you have extra effort. And Extra Effort will always beat cash.
Man bill i bet Vicky tells you sometimes when its just you two that yalls boys have grown too be just like you and yall are so blessed to be the family yall have become i really just want to come over and hangout with yall and race rc trucks around
The old man has spent your entire lives teaching you boys and has done an outstanding job doing so. Now comes an opportunity (Honor) to bond and impart some of your knowledge to him in return. Grab it and run. My old man never wanted me or anyone teaching him a dam thing he knew it all,All you had to do was ask him. Bill Sr. Good on you sir for being willing to learn from the young guns.
Jeff just wanted to say thank you for being a girl dad and teaching life skills that will save her time money headache and her life. As a daddy girl I say thanks! Tommy don't let the haters get to you they are secretly your biggest fans outside of your mom and probably are the ones who buy the most merch haha so let em hate thank them and be proud that you've got something great enough for someone to find time to talk about.
Check your alternator drive ratio on the FALCON; if an alternator exceeds roughly 16,000-rpm it can drop voltage from the brushes bouncing. Generally speaking if your crank pully diameter is any bigger than 2X the alternator pully's diameter you're getting very close to the danger zone for brush bounce just prior to the shift (given your running the engine to 7200-rpm like I've seen in some of your "in-car" videos).....This may not be the full reasoning / cause of your issues, but if your alternator is worn / has a diode out, it definitely could be.......and slowing the alternator down has a benefit of it lasting longer under hard use / charging more stable down track if it's running at a more efficient speed (ex: basically all alternators reach there maximum output by 6000-alternator-RPM, which would be only 3000-RPM engine speed with a 2:1 drive ratio, so it doesn't take much speed to have good charging)......the same could be said for Billy's truck, with it's 18V system; as lot of higher amp-output / voltage alternators have lower max RPM limits before brush-float can begin to occur, yet also higher minimum rpm before full output can be achieved (check out the amperage vs. RPM chart on Balmar Charging Solution's website, it provides a good range of alternators to compare yours & Billy's against to better show what I'm trying to articulate in text).... Keep up the good work 👍
I absolutely love everything about this video! The old man being down with the EFI is above and beyond! I love that this bad ass sexy truck has turned in ts complete family project ! People can say that Tommy gets forgotten it seems to me that you Tommy have brought this family to a new better level !! Love all three channels and relate and respect the dynamics so much !!
Tommy is a only 20 years old. But to watch him drive a race car you would not think that. He is a wheel man and with that being said he’s now learning how to wrench on them cars. These two young men show up to race you have to take notice.
I love me some Tommy and Allison content. Be patient. Be focused. And most of all be true to yourself. Times are constantly changing. Focus on 1 goal at a time.
Tommy’s S10 is badass! Looking forward to seeing it completed! Dart is looking damn good, looking forward to seeing Allison behind the wheel again! Keep up the great work you two!
I liked the sit down session with you on camera. You have a way with the camera with your calm demeanor and way of clearly expressing yourself. Nice job. Keep it up.
I am an Old man and all I can say is Ya gotta Love all of you Guys! At the least I find you very intertaining. Enjoy your youth and live life to its fullest!
Yes let Alison organize it,it will make you life easy, but you have to keep it organized.Organization is key to production in the garage, and as Jeff says races are won in the garage.....lol Glad to see your getting the truck moving along!! and the darts coming along well!!
I love how your mom is in your phone as A mom for it to be at the top of the contacts list I did that with my mommas number too. Lol funny how moms think alike
I love that truck. Tommy this was the best you’ve ever presented yourself. I wasn’t your fan early on after you got the falcon but I’ve come to realize your somewhat like younger me. Not as socially proficient as your brother and that’s ok. Just remember be humble be grateful but also you probably earn a lot of the pride you have in your contributions to src. You got a jam up pop and good dude for a big bro. Okay semi-old man rant over. Morale of the story not that it matters but your growing on me. Y’all are the all American family a lot of us wish we had and that brings more views than those sweet chevys and black sheep ford.
You kids are awesome, I wish more of your generation was like you all. Keep the videos coming, can't wait to see the s10 and looking forward to see the dart come out.
I really enjoy all 3 of y'alls channels. The S10 is going to be really nice when y'all are finished with it. Thanks for all the hard work & great content!! I can hardly wait to see the Dart making some hits. I love the old Mopars, especially Jeff's Challenger. It is absolutely gorgeous!!
I just love how everyone in the family has their own channel, old man billy and tommy just nice to see it as a family thing. Think that's why I'm such a big fan of you guys!
Glad to see update on s10 and the dart plus seeing everybody back jeff allison and the shop supervisor! I have missed everybody ! keep working hard guys! I needed a little Mopar love! GOD BLESS GUYS! Y'all are killing it with the videos and the editting! Let Allison organize your tool box Tommy!!👍
I could never get tired of watching that falcon my dad had an old falcon Chevrolet powered when I was a kid and I've always loved them especially with a Chevy in them
That's not going till happen till next season. Work on the dart is a lil slow. They started working on the dart at the end of last season an it's not looking like it's going to be done within the next 2months
Glad the truck is getting some love and will be back racing! Take your time with it and do it right. Glad you and Billy will have a front side vehicle and a back side one also. Can't wait to see Allison's car done and her driving it. Keep up the hard work to all of you. Sending love from Eastern, NC.
Between Big Rob and Billy. You easily can build it yourselves. All the other cars seem to be running so with a little attention it shouldn't be long. Nice racing in the Falcon. You've got it figured out.
Tommy I never get tired of ya talking keep it up. Thanks for all the insight on all y'all do and are doing. Yins channel is absolutely amazing from the family and friends to the educational side of it . Y'all are great folks could not ask for better people . Keep it real , keep it's safe and keep it fast. Can't wait to see what's up next. Thank yin's.
The absolute best video out of all of the ones your family has posted. Your an intelligent young man Tommy. Very happy for all of you. God bless you and your family
Plans for your truck. Just put something that has about 1500hp in it. And beat the snot out of it till it's twisted like a pretzel and the converter bolts are falling out of it. Then by next year you can win cash days. 😆 that was a great show y'all put on by the way. Good job guys.
@@hollowpoint357sw4 with Billy's truck they got that little thing twisting so hard off the launch that I don't think loctite would help much. I don't think they're backing out. I think they're being twisted and ripped out. Like wringing out a wet dish towel. The whole truck is twisting. You could probably tack weld them and they'd still come out. I think they need to stiffen the truck a little more and put in a mid plate.
Yes Allison organized Billy’s tool box !! Don’t tell him it better to ask for forgiveness then to ask for permission!!! And Billy would you rather be right or a happy happy man ?
Keep your head up, Tommy. You are doing an amazing job on the videos. The rest will come with time and effort. Tuning a car doesn't define you. There are tons of drivers out there who have to hire others to tune their cars, so don't feel like you are behind or lacking. You get the car from A to B with success while staying competitive. The car doesn't drive itself!
Great video and content. Hats off to you Tommy. Your progression of knowledge and experience in racing has really came on strong in the last 12 months. MAD RESPECT FROM NORTH CAROLINA
Billy better keep an eye on those upper control arms. That was funny when he brought them things in and showed the old man. I'd check for cracks between the holes. Hell I didn't even realize he actually used them. I love it though
I'm looking forward to the build an seeing you guys make the truck great again. I love working on trucks an making them go fast I wish I had a dad like you guys do bring it your family is amazing
Tommy can’t wait to see what U & Billy Do To Your S10 & can’t wait to see what all is done with Allison’s Dart , Us Your Money Wisely on The Truck. U & Billy Doing a Fantastic Job Racing lately!!! Fan from Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri
Tommy you should convince Billy to paint his S-10 the same shade of blue that yours is so they match. Your competition will always be guessing who they are going up against.
Really enjoyed the part where you sat down and explained the plan for the truck. It's gunna look so sick. U should let your dad drive it when it gets finished too lol
That was a Great 👍 Video Always appreciate your time and content Allison's Dart is coming along, Allison is always pitching in to help Jeff is very talented Tommy and Allison Very impressive and very informative Thanx and Have a Great Day 👍 God Bless America
Tommy you’re very talented and you seem to honestly LOVE racing and yes you definitely have to be serious to be safe but just don’t stress things to the level that takes the FUN & SATISFACTION out of it. Great to see the S-10 going back together, and lord knows she’s definitely one of the year models and color that makes it a beautiful hot rod.
Can't wait to see the entire process! Everyone in your circle is an inspiration for a lot of us to get out and get after our own projects. Can't wait to see what all of you accomplish in the future! I think you should call the extra stuff to get those back tires off "Falconry".
SRC family rocks, and it's so cool to see you'll pull together and make things work!!!! I vote all three channels the best thing that y tube has ever put out family tradition!!! Love you all and keep kicking that azz!!!!
Tommy once again I enjoyed the content of your video I'm glad to see the directions that you're going through stay safe you and Allison both so from the Old Man in Tampa Florida may God bless
Thanks for the update Tommy Allison and Jeff. Tommy let Allison organize your new toolbox. Then you can give a toolbox tour video. Stay safe and well Artie 😊
