I must have watched this video a hundred times. One of the last times that black boat left the slip as we knew her. What an exit, fellas. What an exit. So grateful for the many hours I was blessed with in that cockpit. Damn, do I miss those days!
Marty, my friend, you might proclaim yourself as the star but without a doubt the expression on Brian's absolutely stole the show IMHO, haha. Pretty work doesn't quite seem to do do it justice but holy hot damn that's pretty work right there boys!
wolfs vision You are so wrong in your comment. 2 crew and 5 charter clients- I’d say the Captain was perfect and correct. Tournaments are not designed for pussies and the meek.
So Roy Buddle wants me to release a $1,116,450 fish.... would you Roy sacrifice a million plus to release it? Being that I’ve actually tagged and released way more than fish critic Roy... there are always bitchers and whiners when they see success
I know that communication is key to landing the fish but it's a high stress yelling frenzy. Must have said open the top ten times...haha. gotta have thick skin and realize it's just passion for wanting to land the fish
You can tell them guys haven't fished much. Definitely a lot of inexperience with doing simple things that could cost you a big fish and lose a very good payout
I've won 5 major tournaments you fucking idiot - how many have you won? That's what I thought. This was a charter that booked us for the Big Rock tourney. Why not worry about who's screwing your wife instead of how I win $1,116,000 ...
That's the whole point to Marty and Brian- They can take a pit full of guys that don't know right long from flat line and put them on a fish of a lifetime. My first tourney with Marty and Brian was Cpt Cove 2005. New Run-off, didn't even have a drain plug yet. We did 12 whites and still were out of the money. But Glenn, Bill, and I had had a once in a lifetime experience. Consistency and longevity really are what define a legend. I'd say these two are legendary on the OBX and Crystal coast.
Your catch should be disqualified. Under IGFA rules the angler must be the only one to touch the rod and reel. The fish had been hooked and the angler must take the rod to the chair not a crew mate as you did. Fish by the rules and stop cheating
Bulldog You stupid fucking whiney lil bitch. It is you that doesnt know the Big Rock rules. Shut your pie hole when you have no clue as to what you are talking about. This tournament allows this action. Plus all winners are polygraphed. So get your mouth out if your own ass and speak only when I say so.
wahoonbox exactly. Craziness of a fish that doesn’t fight its weight. Lot of dumb igfa rules that are antiquated. But hey nice boat. But people who self recognize as marlin dudes and wash each other’s balls while sitting in a “fighting chair” (read gynecologist pussy chair) are a bunch of queefs
