Wow look at the pitch on the blades of those cooling fans very aggressive looking and I bet they move some air for little 3 inch fans as well as being kind of loud
That's a nice haul. Those 32 gig RAMs have gone for @ $100 on eBay so you've got some great potential there. Hope you didn't hurt your back with all the lifting involved in that load.
@21:29 there are 4 blue capacitors on the power board, they are akin to the surface mount MLCC’s and can potentially contain silver and palladium. If you find a yellow or orange resin dipped capacitor on a power board, it will be marked with either a C or a Y, the C is your tantalum capacitor Happy hunting 🤙🏼
Hey there Moose, Congrat's on the little 'big' haul! All those ram sticks are amazing! I save all the resin dipped capacitors for future sorting. Some have silver, some palladium. 999Dusan has done a few videos as to which is which.. Take Care, Jim
Hey moose a nice scores there in your e-waste there's some pretty nice stuff there I will tell you one thing I've only done a few of those little prongs that you pulled out that have the fingers on it but they also have two gold plated laser diodes in them open them up all the way just to suggestion...🤔🤔👍😎
I was just digging around and came up with four 170 MB hard drives and six 8 MB sticks of RAM (with a $75 price tag still on 1 putting that at almost $1 per megabyte LOL) along with two strange-looking sticks that could only be RAM but not like any RAM I've seen before along with a very robust looking PCB that says made in USA from 1992 so I thought I might ask you how you go about identifying some of these things that are very old? Also what are you anticipating you're going to be able to get for those 32GB ddr4 server RAM sticks you got and would they fit in a standard PC ddr4 slot even if it's not supported on most motherboards because I don't care if it's 32 gigs that's only seen as 8 being able to address them just because I'm looking to maybe get a server to use as a PC and file host being able to use the same RAM when I switch would be cool so I don't have to buy anything new so update us when you figure out what you looking to get for them. I've tried to figure out what kind of machine this old Hardware goes into because it's quite different from what we use now but I'm not having much luck and you might recommend to me some ideas on how to go about doing that. What do you do when you see something you don't know anything about identification based software image search or just pick some old guy's brain for info on these things?
I can't remember what they're called but you're working on them at 2224 Mark of the video those have laser diodes of receiver and a sender inside of them and they are gold-plated the ones I took apart
Yep sheet metals 145 here and prepared is 185.. in Nebraska but I also take my scrap to an alters which actually is home base is in Illinois I used to live there
Hey moose been watching you for a couple years now your videos are always interesting to me I know this is not related to this one but I'm curious if you know anything about being able to extract the little bit of gold in glucose test strips
Hey there Moose, I've hear a lot of folks having issues with dripping noses.... allergies(I'm in the group) plus as you age it seems to get worse.......also as you age........what I call dead spots in thought...where you're talking and your brain just says......F' it.....hahaha.......granted I will be 70 this year but normally do just fine.... Peace.........Red
Be careful what you say online considering child labor laws and 12-hour work days LOL that could be seen as a confession you know and once it's on the internet you never can get it back off again
Hi I think you need to do some research on chips and components because you are throwing out dollars to get back pennies you don’t know what you are doing and you are waist all your time doing it and as for fibre switches they are big money lots of gold corner bgas and and all the stps that go in them some sell $2000 each and older ones $400 and lots of gold in side do some homework you ripped your self off big time
@@anthonysmith4781 I do it and I get lots of stuff out of them and I throw tin and steel away in recycle bin it worthless gold corner BGA 1 kg gold recovery is around $1500 Australian I just done some chips and got 14.65 grams of gold and I throw boards to recycle when I have stripped them loads of silver platinum group metals in components the stuff I seen in the video he threw thousands away and more watching him makes me think how much money he bins and then makes me want to stop watching him because he doesn’t know much at all only tin scrap ??????
