The secret boss may have been harder but the Queen fight just honestly feels more fun. I think that's what Toby is trying to do? Making the final chapter bosses more gimmicky and fun while making the secret bosses more straightforward and rewarding.
Seriously, no question, the fight proper was one try for normal route, about three or four for weird route, but this elevator hella took me like ten tries before I realized it's just spooking me
Most of the hell gameplay in Toby's games comes from the bullet hell genre. The elevator's special because it comes from a different kind of hell game... Super Hexagon.
@@birb70 he's too easy. I beat him with the B button without items no armor as hardcore (5 tries) Now that this is done, pure hell begun (B button, Susie and Ralsei are always reading the manual, no items, no armor) I guess this is impossible.
@@miculprint. I will confess that I did die to the elevator once, but that was about it, whereas with Spamton Neo it took me approximately 3~4 attempts in both battle formats. And even then, the only reason I died to the elevator section was simply because I didn't expect it to be so fast-paced.
@@miculprint. Suppose it's all a matter of play style, what our strengths and weaknesses are. Where my worst moment was probably the Snowgrave Spamton Neo battle, though then again I got so used to using Ralsei to heal I had to be super careful with my item usage, lmfao.

i was kinda worried of spamton at the end. he was flying and having fun, then he killed him. (you may be asking, why would you be worried if he was trying to kill you? well. as i said, he was having fun while flying.)

I have a theory that we'll see these characters again in chapter 7, but not them. Its stated there's going to be a carnival, and we've already seen that the two released bosses have a carnival ride element to them. (Jevil has the carousel, and Spamton NEO has the rollercoaster.) Which makes me think that the other chapter's secret bosses will also follow this theme as well. And may also have a Light World counterpart with operators for those rides in the end of chapter 7 when i assume this carnival will be.
"The festival" is something that's mentioned multiple times in the light world as "coming up" so maybe as the chapters tell the story of those days we may see something of a "festival element" with all the secret bosses
The one for Jevil would be a circus clown themed carrousel, where the ride simply cannot stop spinning for whatever reason. Spamton's could be a computer controlled rollercoaster, which has been taken over by some malicious computer virus. Just speculating lmao I really don't know shit.

It took me 37 tries and i still couldn't get through the elevator on switch, it was way too complex to do it with cons. Then i accidently discovered: you can use arrows too Got it First try, then i had to reestabilish using joysticks for the fight

I only died to Spamton twice lol Now fighting him without any party members on the other hand..... That might be a different story XD But I refuse to do the route required for it

Lol i dont know much about deltarune but lots about undertale, but i always thought spamton neo was just a dollar store version of mettaton lol. EDIT: 8:17 is when the abttle starts just in case if u dont want to wait
Once you've defeated Spamton (Pacifist Route Only) go back to the trash area there is a secret hole in the wall and you talk to spamton he then sells you the key gen where you'll take it to queens castle and unlock that secret area and then you head towards the basement where you'll need to find a body examine it and you'll get a floppy where you have to take it back to spamton so you can insert it inside of him after he will leave and then you will need to go back to basement and examine the body again once you do leave the room and then that will activate the secret boss fight
