Alastor is a fun and polite guy who loves to mess around with people but get him angry and he is an absolute beast, I agreed with the theory that Charlie’s mom is the one who has him on a leash
It's Eve or Wrath aka Satan aka Rou. Wrath is imprisoned under hell because even for a prime sin he is too dangerous for hell itself. Eve also would like to see Lucifer fall. I don't think it's Lilith. She made a deal with Adam.
I'm starting to notice that Alastor has something of an inferiority complex. It's clear that he enjoys being the center of attention and hates feeling upstaged or made to feel inferior by others. He was clearly pissed about Carmilla not showing much interest in his seven-year absence like Zestial did and in this episode he went out of his way to get under Lucifer's skin because he was snuffing work on the Hotel. His reaction to Husks comments also makes clear that whatever demon that owns his soul, the idea that he's dependent on anyone for what he has is enough to genuinely anger the man who's always got a cheerful attitude even when dealing with his archenemy. I get the impression that Alastor has a lot of pent up rage underneath that smile of his.
Thats called a superiority complex because he feels he is better than everyone or that he should be. An inferiority complex is when someone feels they are less than everyone or that they should be. And a god complex is when someone feels they are more powerful than everyone in every way imaginable.
@@jointheriseforrobloxno, that’s the opposite of what’s going on here. If he believed himself truly superior he wouldn’t care what others think of him, yet it affects him deeply. The point is he wants to feel important, with a superiority complex this would not be the case.
@@whwhwhhwhhhwhdldkjdsnsjsks6544 the literal definition for superiority complex is "an attitude of superiority which conceals actual feelings of inferiority and failure."
WEll not really. He has been insulted many times and so far the only ones that got him upset was Lucifer and husk's dig here, which happened around the same time as him being around lucifer.
You say that as if Vox didn't spend an entire musical solo trying to insult him and all of it bouncing off. Or Velvette, for that matter. Or Vaggie threatening him with a spear and insulting him. And so on and so forth. It's clearly only VERY SPECIFIC THINGS that get under his skin, and even then, like with Carmilla, in some cases he doesn't let it affect him much.
Its interesting that the reminder for their souls being owned, both Alastor and Val both create chains around their necks and pull on them to remind then of the authority they have over that person. It's heartbreaking
I like how even when the cheery phonograph music starts up again, at the very end of the clip you can hear it go out of tune for a second. Really emphasizes that under his smile, Alastor is _very_ dangerous.
I find it even more interesting that Husk KNEW that Alastor was on a leash. I don’t think very many people are aware of that since I’m sure Alastor would keep it to himself. So perhaps Husk knows who Alastor made a deal with.
Something tells me that Husk knows that Alastor had made a soul deal with someone else, and the question is "Who is it that Alastor made a soul deal with?" It couldn't possibly be Lilith because she's up in Heaven soaking up the sun's rays at the beach, it has to be someone else who's more superior than himself, Lilith, Lucifer, the other Overlords, the other Seven Deadly Sins, and the Elders of Heaven combine.
Playing Devils advocate here (pun not intended), I think we can all agree that even with all the nonsense Husker has to put up with, Alastor still treats him LEAGUES better than how Val treats Angel.
This is what I love about alastor some much cause this scene perfectly sums up what he said to Charlie about smiles. On the surface he just seems like a charming guy with a sadistic attitude but if you manage to make him ligitmatly angry he becomes a nightmare so horrific that even a former overlord will shake in absolute horror at a simple threat. Alastor truly is an amazing written villain
People say that Alastor having an inferiority complex is why he got pissy. But I think it's more that the mere fact of him being on a leash is more than enough to tarnish his reputation. A big part of it is the mystery around his powers as the Radio Demon, with only Husker being the one to know the truth. Odds are if word got out that the big scary Radio Demon was on a leash himself, he'd very likely be a laughingstock. Vox especially would never let him live it down. Yes, Alastor could wipe the lot of them out, but that won't change the fact that everyone knows the truth.
I honestly think Husker was reading the situation and was intentional about his speech. He's already been shown to play his cards close to the chest, and he's a seasoned gambler. He knows how to have a poker face. Either he was suspicious of Alastor being under another demon and guessed right, he was completely talking about someone else, or he knows and he just wanted to push a button. He is scared of Alastors power, but I think he knows how far he can push without losing his life. He's digging for the truth and he found the sore spot.
Alastor- "If you ever say that again I will tear yoir soul apart AND BROADCAST YOUR SCREAMS FOR EVERY OTHER DISRESPECT RETCH WHO DARES TO QUESTION ME!" Husk- "Understood😰" Alastor- "lovely. Always good talk my good man always good to catch on" I don't feel like fixing it anymore then this
Okay, so here’s a crazy theory for you guys that’s been circling my head since I saw someone mention the stitches that sometimes appear on Alastor’s face. Alastor’s smile, is artificial, correct me if I’m wrong, but I don’t think he’s ever ONCE not been smiling. Sure in some scenes the smile doesn’t reach the eyes, but I don’t recall a single scene where his mouth was turned downwards. So what if he literally CAN’T stop smiling, because the stitches keep it up, but wait, this goes deeper. Apart from Vox, Alastor’s voice is the only one we’ve seen in the series that has a distortion to it, that makes it sound like his voice is being emitted from a radio at nearly all times. So what if not even his voice is HIS voice… What if, Alastor is a literal PUPPET on strings, what if the person who Alastor made a contract with, controls him and his actions, and it’s only when Alastor’s own actions are aligned with his Puppet Master, that his REAL voice comes through, rather than the radio distortion, which rather than be Alastor’s own voice, is really his Pupper Master’s DISGUISED as Alastor’s voice. I bring this up, because watching this scene again I remembered something. Vivzie has confirmed that when Alastor’s voice stops being distorted, he is being sincere, but listen to this scene again, specifically Alastor’s words after he summon’s Husker’s leash, the whole thing, from beginning to end is distorted… WHY? One would think with a personality like Alastor’s he would be sincere in his threats to Husker for DARING to imply he’s second banana to ANYONE, so his voice should sound more normal, and not distorted, but it’s not. Even after Husker acknowledges the threats, the distortion remains… WHHHHHYYYYYY!? What does Alastor have to be insincere about in this scene!? Unless Alastor is not the one in control here… anyone else notice how Alastor’s eyes change when he goes full demon? We only see it happen a few times in the show, each time it’s used to intimidate, the Puppet Master perhaps, sensing a threat to their secret, and making Alastor neutralise the threat. Of course, this then all begs the question, what the heck did Alastor get out of this deal, to surrender himself so completely to another’s control, what was the temptation that caused Alastor to take this deal? And it still doesn’t answer WHO!? Though considering many have mentioned the Voodoo symbolism surrounding him, I’m starting to lean towards Loa Entities, rather than Lilith. Apart from the conspicuous timing of their absences, there’s nothing really linking Lilith and Alastor.
In my theory lilith has alastor in leash as both disappeared at same time, and he is in charlie's hotel that is lilith's daughter even though he says he wants to see them suffer he have does helped them in his own ways, maybe like an order from lilith to take care of her daughter or something or an order to spy or something who knows
I think if in the future Charlie makes a play to take down the Overlords, she seeks advice from Husk who use to be one to help free the souls and maybe (If Alastor isn't around) he tells her, he's on someone's leash. Or at least he suspects it. Or he tells her regardless if he knows Alastor is watching. Since he's grown close to her, in an act of defiance. If he kills him, Charlie will know.
Why did I just imagine something like this. Alastor: "Who do you think I am? Pinhead?" Lucifer: "Yes." Alastor: (suddenly has a literal pin for a head) "...That's not funny."
Husker: Big Talk for someone who’s also on a leash. Alastor: Ha.. What did you say? Husker: Nothing I uhh. Alastor: If you ever say that again i will tear your soul apart and broadcast your screams for ever other disrespectful rat who dares to question me. Husker: Understood.. Alastor: Lovely..- Haha good talk my good man it’s always nice to catch up.
