As AWESOME as the books you presented very well are, the Music pieces that plays during your presentation of said-books were the highlight for yours truly!! ^^ ...I've no words for how BEAUTIFUL they were. They're the kind of Music that transports you back to a period in time that wasn't so mundane, akin to Johann Sebastian Bach's "Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring" which I really LOVE!
I’m considering buying Theology of the home! My goddaughter’s mother suggested it would be a good book to dive into. So far I love all their content I’ve see on Instagram! :)
I ordered Theology of the Home in addition to a number of other catholic books a few days ago, and they're on the way. I'm really looking forward to them!
Hi 👋, new subscriber here! I just wanted to ask if you would mind doing a flipthrough and review of Story of the Bible? I am trying to decide between that and Bible Quest for Theology next school year. It would be a big help as I couldn't find any other reviews about it on RU-vid. Also, how does Story of the Bible compare to Story of Civilization series? Aren't they basically the same thing? Anyway, thank you in advance for your response! God bless 🙌
Welcome!!! I will be doing one soon!!! I guess the difference between the two would be that the story of the Bible goes through the Bible where as the story of civilization would be more about the different people throughout that time period.
@@MyLittleDomesticChurch hurray! I will set my notification bell. Can't wait to see your review of Story of the Bible. I figured that because they incorporate Catholicism in the study of History, that Story of Civilization could be used for both Theology and History. I wasn't sure why they decided to make Story of the Bible if that were the case. That's why I want to see it up close and hear your thoughts on it before I buy. Thanks so much for responding! ❤
@@user-vg8ez9cu6u Story of Civilization begins with Ancient History, but does not incorporate much from the Bible in it, unless it is general history. Story of the Bible is specifically just for learning all the stories in the Bible, even the no historical stories.
Yes!!! We all have a home and I think working on loving and appreciating the home is important no matter what!! I know some of the book is geared toward people with children though but I think everyone could benefit anyone
"Your heart in a BOOK?!" Ohhh my goodness, that sounds just like my 8 year old, too🤣 The Theology of the Home book looks and sounds lovely! I am not a Catholic, at least not yet, though I'm super interested! So anyway, I wonder about what's actually in the book. Would it go over my head as a person who doesn't know much of Catholicism? Its only been 2 years since I called out to Jesus and he rescued me 😊 But having little "background" with any church and very little fellowship with others, I really don't have a denomination or church that I belong to. So I am wondering of this book is going to talk about concepts I don't understand, or if my desire to serve God and my family is enough to make use of this book. Kinda the same question about the curriculum. Does it follow the Catholic Bible? Thanks for reviewing these! I am very interested in purchasing that curriculum to instill more routine around Bible time. Some mornings I do my own Bible study, rarely the children join, and often the Bible gets passed over completely in the chaos😕 I think premade lessons would help me establish consistency! Thanks again, dear!
Hi!! That is so wonderful!!! Jesus is so good!!! So good!! Theology of the Home is Catholic but I feel she does a good job at describing why the Home matters and how we can better participate in our home! She quotes many Catholic saints and references so many great things! I don’t think it would go over a new Christians head. Some things may be a new concept I’m sure but I think she does a good job at explaining things. I will be doing a more in denote video soon all all the items where I’ll go into it a bit more. The Bible curriculum is fantastic! The good thing is that all Christians were Catholic up to the 1500s!! If you’d like you could look and listen to some of the samples and on the website too!!! That might give you more details! And I’ll hopefully have my videos up soon!
