You wouldn't expect a guy with a 10-4 record to give Bo such a tough match but obviously, this guy is a lot tougher than his record suggests. Much respect to Gravina.
It’s not like high school where if someone has a better record there Better then them. In college every single kid is a stud no doubt so no matter who you wrestle almost the whole time it’s going to be tough
Bo Nickal was a BEAST in college and is a true beast today! He's a dedicated athlete that excels in everything he does. Had Gravina attended a wrestling school like Iowa, Oklahoma or Penn State this match may have ended a lot differently. You can't expect to be top level unless you're wrestling top level guys every day. Rutgers, Cornell, Stanford and Oregon are schools guys attend when they didn't get a scholarship offer for Oklahoma, Penn State or Iowa. Or they were worried they wouldn't get to start.
clark bar I thought Gravina did a good job, idk anything about his teammates. You don't wrestle a close match with a guy like Nickel without working hard
Rutgers crowd was booing Nickal's backing up BUT you could bet your life-- literally your life, Gravina would have done the same AND more to win at the end.
We were at that match Bo, Jason, and Vincenzo dancing & laying around mat before the match It showed off in their matches And we’re huge fans of Jason and Bo, but it was ridiculous
