This band is just... I don't even have words for how good this is. It's the type of thing that reminds you of how transcendent music can be.

The imagery is so strong. I felt it all: going to the Great Lakes on a train at the end of June, feeling the Summer breeze, seeing cattails and a lonesome loon.

this session should be put on vinyl,locked in a time capsule so that when they dig it up in a hundred years they will believe us when we say there was real music in 2021 we swear !!!!

This was my most played song on spotify in 2022, not the albuk version but this live version... the album version was my second most played 🤣 this was my "anthem" that summer, played it for friends at my cottage, camping, while washing the dishes, and walking the dog in the fall. It brings me to a special outdoorsy space in my mind, i can feel the dopamine rush when the guitar solos hit and the warm drums carry on. I wish i saw that meteor shower at the motel i guess 🤷 with Lenker and company singing around a fire

This is the song that got me hooked on Big Thief. I heard it on a college radio while I was working and saved it. A few months later I came back to it and explored the rest of their discography. This is still my favorite song because it feels like home somehow.
