Yeah that performance of Dragon was utterly gorgeous, because of that tension and discomfort. It was the best part of this show. Pulled my heart and guts right out of my mouth.

I love that the live footage looks like it was recorded on a VHS camcorder from 1994. Timeless. Also, I just happen to have that same cycling cap that Buck is wearing, cool!

On top of their music being brilliant, I really appreciate how Adrianne and crew are so eloquent and insightful talking about gender and their relationship as a band.

Would’ve bought 10 year old Adrianne’s album in a heartbeat.

That was a fabulous privelege to hear such ethereal talent speak such earthy truths. Gobsmackingly amazing. My delight in and appreciation of the wonder that is Big Thief has just increaased exponentially. Love and respect to anyone lucky enough to find this gem. Live loud.

Big Thief is by far the most interesting and delighting band i've discovered in the last years. and "so little life" sounds amazing, will defenetely watch this interview and the liveperformances again :)

Just saw them perform in Oakland and it was one of the worst shows I've ever been to. No energy. No feeling. Just bratty control.
