I'll never forget the excitement of my first train shows . I thought train shows were about finding Bargains most of the vendors wanted Hobby Shop prices. Sticker shock finally drove me away. Yes I know trains have always been an expensive Hobby. It was always funny to see the same old men with the same stuff show after show after show cuz they would not bend on their prices. They weren't vendors they were collectors.

@@ELWtrains yes it was in DeLand and I have been a huge train fanatic all my life; my uncle worked on the railroad in the rail yard in Little Rock, Arkansas; which is where I was born
