The big toe is a very important joint. We need to have adequate extension in order to have an efficient gait cycle. In other words, if you can not lift your big toe off the ground without cheating through the ankle chances are it is affecting the way you are walking.
This video is a great way to open up more range of motion so we can train a new end range. Follow this up with consistency for 4-8 weeks and 1-3 times a week as well as lifting the big toe daily with intent.
