The big toe is a very important joint. We need to have adequate extension in order to have an efficient gait cycle. In other words, if you can not lift your big toe off the ground without cheating through the ankle chances are it is affecting the way you are walking.
This video is a great way to open up more range of motion so we can train a new end range. Follow this up with consistency for 4-8 weeks and 1-3 times a week as well as lifting the big toe daily with intent.

Are there any kinstrech or pails/rails that are used to treat bunions? Thanks for all the great content!!

Hey Gaura, bunions are going to need a multifaceted approach. We talk about them a lot in our mini course. Technically these would be great for a bunion as long as you are able to keep the big toe straight when it’s on a stretch. During rails aim to straighten, lift, and abduct. It’s rare a bunion doesn’t have some hip component to it also. People are usually missing hip internal rotation on that side that the bunion is so something else to address for sure.
