Both are designed to be more of an all rounder mate. Cover all bases. Pop up to prolly 180gr with the 80/200. Need to be the hulk to throw bigger all day anyway.

The 80/50 is great aye! What fish are you targeting, and what weight lures are you most likely to throw? I’d base my decision on those 2 factors mate.

@@JonnyBrooksFishing I have a PE 3 and PE 5 set-up for my home waters (nearshore and offshore pelagics up to around 35 kilos). I'm looking to add to that on the top end. So the whole set-up will have to be new and so will any lure above 105g. I've always primarily targeted billfish, but caught the casting bug in Panama last year and will probably travel there and to some of the larger tuna hotspots in north and central america at least once or twice year. But I also will do a trip or two to a tropical place (maybe a Nomad trip) in the next 18 months to try and catch a GT. I don't mind getting a couple rods.
