I have got 2 trains going by at once! The CP train at 4:08 is on the CN Ashcroft subdivision which is westbound traffic for CN and CP, and the CP Thompson subdivision runs just below with eastbound directional traffic.
Gray hoppers for potash, early seventies had a night shift unloading them in North Van. Half way trough the night on the break, I made a fatal mistake by washing the salt off my face. rest of the shift I worked with my eyes closed, they were burning so much, but hey, 48 years later I'm still here to tell you about it. :-)

You have some outstanding recording ewuipment to pick up those sounds that far away from the track. Is the road ever shut down due to a rock slide or snow slide? that is some beautiful secenery in this video. How do you get to all these locations by helo, donkey or what? @John Moore It’s as easy as pulling off the Highway and down the service road to access this location, most locations in the canyon are easy to access from the highway with minimal to some walking down the side of the canyon, thanks for watching!
@Trapezosu Very possible to see Elk or mountain sheep, especially deer, also black bears are often seen in the Fraser canyon. Thanks for watching! I hope to see another few bears this year to add to my movies!
