dont worry about the DSG, the TTRS and RS3 uses the dq500, the stock DSG can handle up to 600nm around 440ib ft of torque, if your running anything passed 600nm or 440ib ft, i suggest you get a DSG tune or your clutch packs will wear out. btw nice build, i think the next thing you should do is get a antilag system. id love to see an antilag system on this build. please dont play with the suspension, i think just adjustable sway bars would be enough. for daily use the stock dampers and springs is fine. dont mess up the mag ride system. leave it be.
Don’t forget Audi’s less expensive cousin, the base VW Golf 2.5L. Integrated Engineering makes a cast alu intake that also raises the power band, but delivers 218 crank HP (faster that a stock GTI). The shift in the power band only takes a few drives before you become fully acclimated to it. I’ll turbo my car soon, but 667hp is a bit out of my reach. I’ll be happy with 500. After that I’ll drop in a Audi A3 rear & haldex controller.
After watching your videos of the RS3 beating everything, it has convinced me to get order one later this year for European Delivery. Gonna run it stock for a while and maybe I'll go for Iroz Stage 2.
RS3 has one more cylinder but you can do the same damage with a Golf R, the same kit basically that is on this car runs 9's at California Speedway, that is not the best traction in the world.

About the cat back don’t be too excited cause I spoke to Akrapovic a week ago and they told me that they were not developing an exhaust for the rs3 cause they just can’t make the sound better than the OEM one. Just wait to see what Milltek does. By the way I’m trying to get in touch with hank cause I might be getting the I/C + custom code shipped to Spain. Might be going xona turbo later down the road too. Tuners here told me that dynos used in the US usually read 15% higher than those found here and that I would be looking at around 400 whp with a stage 2 on 93 aki fuel but that is insane considering that stock RS3s here are making 350 whp. flsupraguy really no need to, powerwise I’m happy at the current level and trans hold perfectly. The hesitation you hear is the software capping wtq, and I’ve just been told I’m due for a software update. So we’ll see if she gets better ✌️👍

What piston and spring upgrades do you have on the car? I know with the stock internals, torque is the enemy, 500 lb-ft. That is not a lot. Maybe good to 575 hp. Transmission is also rated low. So how are people pushing 700 crank hp/600 crank tq without upgrading the pistons, valve springs, transmission, etc?
Man I was about to buy a used rs7... but with all this rs3 hype and potential I went and tested a new one.... rs3 is the greatest car 8ve ever owned better than my ctsv v2 by a long shot
Hello malakes, I have a question. Does Iroz produce a map for normal octane fuel, and what power does that make? In addition are fuel lines and relative parts ethanol friendly or what? Will there be any corrosion issues?
Thanks for the reply. I also see from IROZ turbo kit the quoted numbers for power (it always amazes me the way these are reported and how they are equivalent from US/Europe dyno numbers, that either i have something wrong when it comes to pump gas, or the the new 2.5 engine isn't making a hell of a lot more power than the old 2.2 or stroked up 2.5 engine. I have a replika audi rs2 running about 400whp at the moment and i dyno myself using log data and weight/tyres/frontal area and transmission so that i get pretty close to what expected when it comes to true power. Its done on the road, so its better representation. if you are interested let me know and i can dyno the rs3 for you. (by the way, do you come to Greece at all? if so be sure to let me know!)
Great review! I currently drive a mid 700whp ctsv, & a 17 Range Rover sport supercharged V8. I’m looking at adding an RS3 to the stable but finding information on stage packages difficult to find. Can you point me in the right direction to find complete packages, and shops you would recommend having an rs3 shipped to preferably in the south/Midwest?
Hey what's up "re" malaka! Was thinking about getting a audi ttrs, but I'm wondering if the rs3 saloon might be a better option for heat etc (with big turbos) . Asides from (down pipe, middle pipe) and upgraded larger turbo from iroz, your mk3 stock? . Looked at hybrid for UK,instead of bigger turbos from iroz, because of regulations shit. Is is just a straight bolt on for hybrids? What power you get put of hybrid turbos compare to your big turbo with your modifications? You do manifold as well? What's the quarter mile like, 0_60 and 0_100? Rizos
TechFreaks what’s up bud, yes other than that turbo kit, fueling and software my RS3 is stock motor and trans. I’m not a drag racer persay, but Irozmotorsports nailed 10.05 in the 1/4 with barely any prep or practice in their big turbo RS3, I feel like this setup has a 9sec pass in her depending on conditions, grip, etc.
TechFreaks and yes they have some nice bolt on for the hybrid turbo setups and they make solid power too with good fueling. Definitely keep an eye out on their website when they release the kits to the public
By the way hope you are running motul 300V oil in your car because any other oil is going eat your rods and pistons. They have showed me stripped out engines using normal good oil compared to motul 300v and it’s not a pretty picture. The motul ones looked new instead
Am 3-4G away from finishing my build but I am doing head and block work and forge piston and a TDI crank. Aiming for 700hp, but will need a good tuner...

you ready for my big deal for power I got. I bought a 2017 slowmaro 1ss for 26000 used with 8k miles. Built the engine and did an f1 procharger. 800whp on corn fuel. About 48000$ all in with the cost of the car 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻

It’s so damn good at everything else that I can forgive her for being a little cranky when you wake her up in the morning for a bit of fun ;)One trick is to throw the key on the seat, foot on the brake and once you press the start button run like hell for the garage door! What you can’t hear can’t hurt ya, Lol.Maybe Audi will release an update that includes ear muffs for those with sensitive ears......

Now..with that said since I started watching your videos I have taken a ton of interest in the Audi TT RS and I was looking at the IMS1000 kit for it. With this being the case I can get a 13' TT RS. I have watched quite a few videos and love the car. Seriously looking into grabbing one myself after watching these videos. I am wondering about those gauges you have off the vent on drivers side. Never heard much about them besides a few mentions. What setup is that and what are you running gauge wise? Looks awesome.

I have been doing research on them because the rs3 is my dream car due to how small it is but how much capability it has. Stock 07k motor from the jetta and rabbit can handle 600 hp with out changing rods and pistons and the stock crank can handle 900 and can use rs3 crank also in the 07k. Costs 500 for a engine and 3 grand to build the motor and then what ever you want to add to it

Wow you covered an important topic for me, the two videos one by Will motivation and the other by Fonzie that talk about lack of low end power while driving around town. I heard that Audi programed the car to make more power after break in, did you notice this? I don’t know if this is true but i saw it on a youtube video with an Audi rep as the passenger. Is the daily drivability really that bad in stock form? Compared to other Audis or VW? To be honest i think fonzie and Will motivation where driving it in regular “D” mode not on “S” or manual mode and with dynamic and traction control on sport. The transmission always try’s to upshift as soon as possible for fuel economy when in “D” mode. Btw thanks for the RS3 crack lol i was getting withdrawals waiting for another one of your videos lol.
Boosted Veedub Yea We don’t agree with those reviews respectfully. People need to drive the car, the the car learn from you, break it in. Most especially in a fresh flash session. Car needs to recalibrate to get used to how it’s driven. Love driving mine when stock, Stage 2 and now big turbo around town, racing, freeway fun etc. Powerband is solid, response is alive and well.
Nothing wrong with the throttle response, sure drive it in 'D' and comfort then sure it will feel a little lazy, but that is how it is meant to be. Put it in dynamic and S or M and it is sweet.
