Finally got the turbos mounted on the 2004 5.4l 3v f150! the engine is completely built with strong internals and ready for some big boost! all we need to do now is finish the exhaust manifolds, and the coolant system, then we can put it all back together and fire this bad boi up!!

as you know, this project has been in the making for quite a while now and I'm so excited to get this finished! the twin turbo f150 is going to be so insane when it's finished!
if you like the twin turbo f150 then u'll really enjoy the next video! We get the turbo exhaust manifold welded up and ready for installation! the exhaust is the most difficult part so it will take some time to get the video finished but if you subscribe and leave a comment about how much you want the next video the I will try my hardest to get the turbo manifolds complete!

I can't wait to see this thing roasting tires and to hear those twins. I have an 05 expedition with the 5.4 3v and an 81 f150 shortbed with a 300I6. I am waiting to see how yours holds up now before I get serious about swapping the 5.4 into my 81. I planned on doing it two years ago and thats how I found your channel. Keep going man, not too many people are doing stuff with the 5.4

Keep up the good work the 5.4 is a solid motor if you treat it right and tune it properly. My has been under boost for 4 years now with a stock rotating assembly and doesn’t miss a beat.

Can you make a list of all of the mods before the rebuild? I have a 07 5.4 3v f150 and I have hella things I'm wanting to do with it, but I've gotten to thinking to put a single turbo on from your link in the last video. Also can you run a single turbo at around 4-5 psi on a 5.4 that has cams, upgraded Torque converter, performance Radiator, fuel injectors, Ignition coils, long tube headers, cai, and cat back exaust using a diablosport i3 Platinum with everything else stock? Also if you don't recommend using the tune for it on a diablosport i3 Platinum, should I go to a tuner instead or buy a tune from 5 star? Please lmk I have lots of plans for mine that I'm really hoping I can get done eventually, other than that, your rebuild is a beast! I can't wait to see it running and on the streets, best of luck!

So how much boost are you running ? No forged rods or pistons ?

What are your plans for the intake manifold. I’ve searched everywhere for options but can’t find any

Yeah I know lol, they don't make aftermarket manifolds for the 3v, there is one place but they charge 6 to 7 thousand. I'm going to make my own aluminum intake manifold once i get a better welder. The stock manifold has held around 15 psi from my experience so I'm not too worried but once I get into the higher boost range I will have to make a custom one.

The stock connecting rods are going to fold. They'll be maxed out at 550hp
