I don't care who goes, they're finished as a Leeds player and no longer of interest. Its who comes, how quickly and if they'll strengthen the squad overall.

Looks like Archie had a release clause in his new contract if we didn’t get promoted… so I think we really need to stop with this sentiment FC. It’s looking more and more likely that the kid wanted out. I’m not a big social media person but I found it weird that Archie didn’t even make a comment or post after the final - even Cree did and he’s been linked with a move away for ages. Something tells me Archie is a very happy boy right now.

Maybe a loan deal for Skipp can still be done. But Premier league teams don’t like to sanction these types of deals until the very end of the transfer window when they know the make up of their squad and if they have enough midfield depth.

12-15 for Skipp is not good business. He is just another Harry Winks, side to side. Id rather go pick up Tanaka for 3 million. He is a better fit and gives us a better balance with Ampadu.

Spurs are awful with young players, look at Skipp, Sessengnon etc. Spurs can't develop players at all. Poor move.

It'd be nice for Rodon to come, but would that eagerness be because of Amps/Gray and James? BUTTTT Revie would have played Joseph a hell of a lot more! Also, football has changed so much compared to Revie's time. I'm hoping 49ers and RB are in for a reasonable time, and they won't want to break the club....profits are a very important factor. If Wober comes back and Pascal stays fit then yeah we'll probably have the best back line in the Championship. It's just can we cope with many more leaving like Summerville, Gnonto and Meslier. A lot of money in those players but we need to get quality in. Perhaps Callum O'Hare on a free worth a shout

Being honest... I think this is a good deal. Archie is a great player and would love him to stay, but the reality is that we need to do these deals. Rodan coming back is amazing. We need a RB now.

Archie Gray is now way worth £40m. It’s a great deal for Leeds. Not proven in the PL and anyone paying that needs their heads read. Even in these inflated markets this crazy money.

Shame he has had to go but PSR is killing the home grown talent but we move on as a club £40M for a player who had a good season and yes the potential is there but we have to think smart and I think it’s good business with Rodon coming also 👏🏾👏🏾 as true Leeds fans we shouldn’t complain.

I think this is a bad deal for both club and player, we lose his versatility and should be building around him. I can't see him getting the game time at Spurs!

A massive head v heart moment. It is an absolute dagger right where it hurts. But it is absolutely the right thing. I'd love Archie to stay, but lets be honest. Rodon on a permanent is a better impact player for us than Gray, who had some good games, but cost us in others - it's not his fault, he's still only a child, but it's the truth. I would expect in going to Spurs he will be sent back on loan almost immediately. If Leeds win back promotion and the P&S situation eases, buying back Archie must be on the cards if his career, predictably, stalls at Tottenham. Let's be honest there is no way he is good enough to be getting Spurs to a Premier League top 4 finish. Leeds must be ready to pounce and get him back. Regardless, this one is going to hurt.

The "football is a business" point of view may be factually true, but I don't watch football for business management skills, I watch for the heart in your mouth, amazing skills, and the progression narrative. Losing this young man who probably harbors the same dream for Leeds is hard, no matter if it was 80 million. What is the point of it all really if you sell players like him?

Honestly hoped Rodon would not be a part of the Gray deal since it will diminish the cash we would get for this young, excellent player. But at the end of the day, I have said it a few times and I will say it again: I do not care who goes, who comes in or who our manager is AS LONG AS we get promoted. I'm not getting emotionally invested in players, no matter the names on their shirts. Whoever playes, just get Leeds up, get Leeds competitive, get Leeds in Europe, get Elland Road rocking.
