Paige, don’t let the internet and other people’s pregnancy stories scare you…everyone has a different pregnancy. Just listen to your doctor and those you trust the most and don’t let worry overshadow this amazing time of your life!
HOW has it been 36 weeks !? Im so happy for you guys. Nerves are so normal!! I was nervous and scared until she was in my arms, and not to scare you, but she came at 36 + 6 days! You’re going to be such a great mama❤ If you’re worried about being a good mama, it usually means you already are a good mama.
Just know that the female body is beautifully made for labor and will do what it is supposed to do, even if you need medical help to get there! You got this, we are all praying for you and cheering you and Jarvis on - you two are already wonderful parents and baby girl is beyond blessed that God picked you two 🤍🤍
I never dilated and was induced the day after my due date. She was born 22 hours later and I pushed for 12 minutes! Just be the best advocate for your baby girl that you can be. That mama instinct will definitely kick in! You've got this!
It’s such a sweet thought to imagine your baby wayyyy in the future revisiting this time in her parents’ lives when they were carefully/lovingly preparing for her arrival.🥹 Maybe she’ll be in her college dorm room on the moon?!🌛 Surely we’ll be living in space by then. 😂
I would get some waterproof pads to put under the sheets of the bassinet and crib. They have saved me a ton of cleaning from throw up and poop not getting on the mattress. And you can clean them easy and throw in the laundry.
I wouldn’t open the freida mom pads until after you deliver . I returned it never used it. Don’t be scared. I had a healthy pregnancy but got a high blood pressure reading considered severe one day and migraine and had to be induced four weeks early. I ended up with pre eclampsia and still on blood pressure medication three weeks after delivery. My son was little but is healthy and good today.
It is extremely common to have high blood pressure, especially in the doctor's office. If you have a blood pressure cuff at home, monitor it a couple times a day. A lot of doctors will sometimes scare you into an early induction with your first. Even if they don't mean to. It is also normal for first babies to take longer. Your body needs to be ready for labor just as much as baby needs to be ready. Trust your gut. If you feel like you need to be induced early, then allow them to. If you feel like you want to wait, stand your ground.
We are exactly 10 weeks apart from having our babies Paige. I’m 26 weeks and you’re 36 weeks. Having some early preeclampsia symptoms so hopefully everything will be good with my pregnancy. Oh, And we’re both having baby girls ❤️❤️🎉
You are going to be a great Mother! Pack your Baby and Mama items, and place them by the door, and when the time comes, you can place them in the car and go! 😊 May want to pack a lemon too, and sip on a slice, or place a slice of lemon in water as it will help calm the tummy. Congratulations! 😊
I had pre-eclampsia for both my pregnancies but was on blood pressure medication before I got pregnant so it wasn't that surprising until my ob told me during my first pregnancy at 35 weeks my bp was too high and I would be helicoptered to a bigger hospital 3.5 hours away as they couldn't deliver me before 36 weeks! So that was a huge shock but baby arrived safe and sound right at 36 weeks and by second baby I wasn't surprised that it happened again but he came at 37 weeks. But yes sooner than their due date puts you in oh sh** mode gotta get all this stuff done! 😅😅
I was just thinking a cute announcement video of baby girl could be a montage of your bump updates and then it ends with a clip or photo of little baby girl x
I went today for my 36 week app and got the swap and checked. They skipped the swab somehow with my second baby so I forgot it was a thing until today 🤣 I may be getting induced at 38 weeks because they think my baby has interuterine growth restriction and I’m having to get weekly ultrasounds. BUT my first 2 were inductions and it wasn’t at all as bad as people made it out to be. ❤
The reason I had suggested to center the rug is so that most of the floor that doesn’t have furniture on it is covered by the rug, that way once she’s crawling she has space to crawl on the rug you know?
Hey Paige! Got a quick question when u guys got married u said you both had to take a class did you both have to pay or where you able to do the class together with 1 payment or did u each have to pay and take the course?
I had to do the non stress test for the last 4 weeks of pregnancy before they decided to induce me at 38 weeks. I was high risk and had gestational diabetes and since my body did not respond to the medicine to induce labor I had to get a C section.
PS everyone is scared I don't know if you watch Kristen I forget her last name but she just had two babies in a row and one within a hospital and when was basically in the car LOL but she has a lot of tips in a lot of reassuring things to say about pregnancy and breastfeeding
First pregnancies are always harder in a little more stressful if you plan on having more babies I'm sure your blood pressure will be normal then it's just a very stressful time knowing you're bringing a new human in the world you could try living your life on the bouncy ball I don't know about first-time pregnancies but I know my second and third pregnancy as soon as my water broke or if they had to break my water at the baby came out within five minutes but my first birth took like a whole day I think that was the epidural that slowed down everything my second third kid I had all natural and they came out superfast so do you want quick fast pain or no pain with the epidural it really was a lovely experience both ways cuz if the epidural I was able to enjoy my baby without the epidural because I had the baby so fast one time I hemorrhaged and didn't even see the baby for like 16 hours and then sometimes babies don't flip until a week or two before their do you have plenty of time honey don't worry you're going to do great🎉
you can add some extra clothes for baby girl for when she spits up on her self or when she has a blowout with her diapers clothes will come in handly to have in your room with yall so you wont have to make a trip to her room to get clothes for her
I hate normally giving my opinion but my senses are telling me you may have her 2 weeks after. Plus this video shows me you need to do some breathing exercises maybe it'll help with the blood pressure
