The part where you said “I get to spend my whole life loving you” made me sob instantly. I’m 35 weeks about to have my third and man oh man, that’s what it’s all about. That’s why we go through these tough months of pregnancy… a lifelong amount of love after. 38 weeks pregnant with our first and we are indescribably excited to meet our little one! Thank you for sharing so much with us, as we are coming up right behind ya! We’ve been praying over baby, labor and delivery as well…the book “Supernatural Childbirth” has been so encouraging and empowering. So glad you had a redemptive experience this time around ❤

I pray that you and baby are safe and healthy through the rest of pregnancy, delivery, and recovery! As a first time mom myself who gave birth 3 months ago, I just want to say that I hope you can give yourself grace during the next coming months. Being a mother is the most amazing thing I've done in life but it has most definitely been the most challenging at the same time. If your birth doesn't go as you plan, you are 100% allowed to grieve over that and over time you can hopefully accept that everything went exactly as it was supposed to for your baby to be born. I had an unplanned c-section after hoping for an unmedicated vaginal birth. I also want to say that "baby blues" and postpartum depression are very real and something that in my case, no one warned me about in the slightest. Please research this if you have the time and prepare yourself mentally for the extreme hormonal shift that is on it's way after birth. Again, you have to have grace for yourself. Things will seem so hard and overwhelming at times and you may even feel regret at your lowest moments. But I promise it is all temporary. Hopefully you have an incredibly joyful postpartum experience, but just know that you aren't alone if you find yourself struggling. All the "negatives" aside, I will say that I'm beyond excited to do it all again and bring another beautiful soul into our family one day. Congratulations mama and I wish you and your family the absolute best. ❤

Enjoy soaking every single minute of a newborn - the smells, the soft skin, the cooing little noises, the scrunches when you pick her up…Sigh! I miss those days. Oh, this video was sooo healing for me. My first 24 hours with my baby girl were nothing like that. It was stressful, painful and lonely, as my baby was taken away from me for the first night. And my way back home from the hospital was so much different, it was full of fear and pain. Your video brought tears to my eyes, but in good way, in a way it gave me hope that after a traumatic experience there is always a chance for a healing one. I’m so sorry. My first born birth went perfectly natural, When it came to my second born, it was very traumatic, I had him natural to, I was shocked when I had to leave my baby behind for 10 days!! I also had sever PPD!! When it came to having my 3rd I was so afraid, I switched Dr.s I talked to him about my fears, he followed through with my concerns, I had wonderful natural delivery with no fears or trauma. Give yourself some grace and know that every birth experience can be different. Good luck with your journey 😊

I’m astonished at how peaceful you are. With our first I had also been up for almost 48 hours before we got home. I was so exhausted, I definitely had an upset meltdown at my husband. I’m just waiting for our second to arrive any day now and praying I can be this full of Gods peace and joy during and after delivery. Super encouraged my your testimony that God answered all your prayers 💕

I am so happy you had such a better and wholesome experience in this birth than the previous one. Your experience shows us that even if we had a bad first or second or third birth that doesn’t mean the next one won’t be different and much more positive. It shows that if motherhood still calls for us after that negative experience It doesn’t mean we need to shy away from it in fear of being awful again because maybe…maybe the next time it will be blessed and positive has it should ❤thank you for sharing these precious moments with us 😊

I’m so glad you got this amazing birth. I think the hardest part of a VBAC is the thoughts ‘can I do this’ and you totally smashed it. I had a Vbac last year and despite having blood loss I didn’t even notice it because I was soooo proud of myself for my Vbac! Enjoy every second, you don’t need reminding how fast it goes ❤️
