The part where you said “I get to spend my whole life loving you” made me sob instantly. I’m 35 weeks about to have my third and man oh man, that’s what it’s all about. That’s why we go through these tough months of pregnancy… a lifelong amount of love after. Oh, this video was sooo healing for me. My first 24 hours with my baby girl were nothing like that. It was stressful, painful and lonely, as my baby was taken away from me for the first night. And my way back home from the hospital was so much different, it was full of fear and pain. Your video brought tears to my eyes, but in good way, in a way it gave me hope that after a traumatic experience there is always a chance for a healing one. I’m so sorry. My first born birth went perfectly natural, When it came to my second born, it was very traumatic, I had him natural to, I was shocked when I had to leave my baby behind for 10 days!! I also had sever PPD!! When it came to having my 3rd I was so afraid, I switched Dr.s I talked to him about my fears, he followed through with my concerns, I had wonderful natural delivery with no fears or trauma. Give yourself some grace and know that every birth experience can be different. Good luck with your journey 😊

I’m astonished at how peaceful you are. With our first I had also been up for almost 48 hours before we got home. I was so exhausted, I definitely had an upset meltdown at my husband. I’m just waiting for our second to arrive any day now and praying I can be this full of Gods peace and joy during and after delivery. Super encouraged my your testimony that God answered all your prayers 💕

I’m so glad you got this amazing birth. I think the hardest part of a VBAC is the thoughts ‘can I do this’ and you totally smashed it. I had a Vbac last year and despite having blood loss I didn’t even notice it because I was soooo proud of myself for my Vbac! Enjoy every second, you don’t need reminding how fast it goes ❤️

I am so happy you had such a better and wholesome experience in this birth than the previous one. Your experience shows us that even if we had a bad first or second or third birth that doesn’t mean the next one won’t be different and much more positive. It shows that if motherhood still calls for us after that negative experience It doesn’t mean we need to shy away from it in fear of being awful again because maybe…maybe the next time it will be blessed and positive has it should ❤thank you for sharing these precious moments with us 😊

My first born is a few months younger than William and was born with no preparation at 32 weeks. I am pregnant now with our second and am so hopeful that I as well get to experience the beauty and joy of the days after birth with the next one. Unknowingly your vlogs of your nicu experience we’re a small window into what I was months away from experiencing… the confusion heartache and longing included. I remember when Theo first came into the world, Zach jokingly (but seriously) mentioned that you guys make such beautiful children that you just have to make more! What a lovely big hospital room you had. Honestly the one I was in was hardly any bigger and there were five mums and five babies in there! I hardly got any sleep because of other people’s crying babies and midwives talking to other mothers in the middle of the night. Luckily my next baby arrived super fast at home so we were straight into my own comfy big bed.

I'm 35 weeks pregnant and soooo excited for this moment. Right now baby is frank breech but he's been moving quite a bit the last few days so hoping he is finally moving into the head down position. I'm more so scared how my almost 4 year old will react becoming a big brother, hopefully better than me who was not a fan of having a sibling. He loves babies in general, even tried to snatch a friend's two month old from my arms when I held her. Welcome to the world Anna Beth!
